NORTHEAST OF NISSWA IN CROW WING COUNTY
The three lakes are connected but each has its own uniqueness. Upper Cullen Lake is the headwater lake. The only public access to this lake is through a narrow channel from Middle Cullen Lake. Middle Cullen Lake has a public access located on the northeast side of the lake. Lower Cullen Lake is the largest of the three lakes. This lake is the most developed of the three, and public access can be found on the southeast side of the lake.
The three lakes have crystal clear waters that only fluctuate generally less than one foot.
Number of aquatic plant species: A total of 39 native aquatic plant taxa were recorded.
Cullen Chain of Lakes has been known to have the following fish species: Bass, Black Bass, Black Crappie, Crappie, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Perch, Pike, Walleye
