Canada Day All Branches Closed Civic Holiday
Summer is an especially good season for those of us who love to read. The longer days and slower pace give us a chance to catch up on some of the books that we've been saving on our reading lists. Summer's here - find yourself a lounge, pour a long, cool drink and tuck into a good book. In our library branches, summer comes alive with many unique programs, activities and a summer club that is just right for you – register online for Brampton Brain Game, Teen Summer Reading Club, or Adult Summer Reading Club directly from our website homepage. Brampton Brain Game, our exciting club for children ages 0-12, includes TD Summer Reading Club and adds opportunities to play and explore. We’ll ensure that your school-age children keep learning and having fun! Teen Summer Reading Club targets 13-17 year olds – Zombies and Escape Rooms, anyone? And why should kids have all the fun? The Adult Summer Reading Club is already in full swing and will wrap up with the announcement of the One Book One Brampton winner at our After Hours Book Bash on August 17 at Springdale, our newest branch. It's a great evening and I invite you all to join us. Rebecca Raven, CEO Brampton Library chieflib@bramptonlibrary.ca 905.793.4636 x74312
