Literature and visual art intersect in this distinctive book club. In this installment we discuss The Underground Railroad by Colson Whitehead and enjoy a tour of the PAMA exhibit North is Freedom. The exhibit features the great-grandchildren of once-enslaved African Americans who found refuge in the Underground Railroad, a clandestine network of conductors and stations that helped many find freedom.
