South West Branch Now Open Brampton Library’s eighth branch is officially open to serve you. Located in the new Lionhead Marketplace at 8405 Financial Drive, South West Branch Library features the library services you love—including picking up and returning your items, browsing new releases and accessing free Wi-Fi and computers in branch. This branch is also home to a new EarlyON Child and Family Centre. Now that’s onestop shopping! For hours of operation and program details, visit bramptonlibrary.ca.

Brampton Library Wins Public Service Award The Honourable Lisa MacLeod, Minister of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries was on hand at the recent Ontario Library Association Super Conference to present the Minister’s Award for Innovation to Brampton Library staff. This is great news as we believe fines on children’s materials to be a barrier to access at the most fundamental level. We want our customers to continue to use our services and to keep coming back.
