MATHEW BLOSL SVP, NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, TONGAL Matthew Blosl is the head of corporate development at Tongal, where he takes his passion for working with leading global brands to build successful partnerships for the company. At Tongal, Matthew works as part of the leadership team focusing primarily on scaling the sales and marketing areas of the company. Having spent his career working with marketing organizations and their advertising agencies, Matthew also spends his time working directly with clients across the country to transform their content strategy and learn to create content in a more agile way using the Tongal platform. Prior to Tongal, Matthew built and served on the management teams for three early-stage companies focusing on revenue growth through sales, marketing, and business development. Before gravitating to entrepreneurial ventures, Matthew led business strategy for the global advertising agency JWT working with clients across various verticals. Matthew began his career as a management consultant at Accenture where he worked to improve sales and marketing organizations through technology with leading global clients. He graduated from The University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in industrial and operations engineering.
MATT CARDWELL DIRECTOR OF SOCIAL MEDIA, QUICKEN LOANS As the Social Media Team Lead at Quicken Loans, Matt and his team engage clients and uphold the company’s brand promise throughout all social channels. They are also responsible for all social media strategy and emerging trends. Along with day to day operations, the team supports Quicken Loans’ sponsorships, including NASCAR, IndyCar, HGTV, and others. Matt joined Quicken Loans in 2004 as the Director of Internet Marketing and was responsible for leading and growing the Web Marketing Team and helping develop and execute on the company’s online strategies. This included developing the company’s early social media and content strategy. In 2009, Matt accepted the position of Vice President of Marketing at Quicken Loans where he led Marketing Operations until joining Rockbridge Growth Equity, a Detroit-based private equity firm in 2011. In 2013, Matt rejoined the Quicken Loans Marketing Team to lead the company’s growing social media team. Prior to joining Quicken Loans, Matt decided to forego his senior year of high school and later enrolled at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor where he earned his degree in History and Philosophy. His favorite part of working at Quicken Loans is being able to create opportunity and growth for his fellow team members and within the family of companies. Since 2011, Joel Sheltrown has served as VP of Governmental Affairs for Elio Motors, Inc. In this capacity, Mr. Sheltrown is responsible for all state and federal statutes or regulations affecting Elio and it’s suppliers. To date, Mr. Sheltrown has provided language and legislative guidance at the federal level and over 30 states, successfully lobbying for the elimination of helmet and motorcycle endorsement requirements for autocycles. She began her career at NYC based ad agency MRY helping brands like Mountain Dew, JetBlue, Microsoft and HP target college students through Facebook contests and later Twitter accounts award winning and novel ideas at the time. She eventually grew tired of working for “the man” and started her own consultancy business, which helped launch early stage tech and media startups. Later, she headed west to Los Angeles to consult with AT&T on their YouTube reality show, @SummerBreak, targeting Gen Z. From there the concept of SnapperHero, the first scripted Snapchat show, was developed and Ashley was tasked with marketing and growth of the series.
