It is with great pleasure that on behalf of Rolling Hills Farms Simmentals, LLC and the Buckeye’s Finest Sale group that I invite you and your family to the 12th Annual Buckeye’s Finest Sale. We strongly believe in offering you outstanding cattle and genetics. This year we have chosen to offer registered spring and fall bred cows, cow and calf pairs, bred heifers, fall and spring open heifers, bulls, commercial cows and show steers. We are offering another outstanding set of a cattle across the board that will work for any operation. I personally feel this year we are offering the best set of bred heifers and cows that have ever been offered in our sale. We are also offering the biggest set of open heifers to date with quality from top to bottom. A majority of these females are bred AI to popular sires. There is something for everyone. This year our family has faced some very challenging health issues. Thank you to everyone that has reached out and for all the thoughts and prayers. A special thanks goes out to a few people that, without their help, preparing for this sale wouldn’t have been possible. My brother Bill and his wife Kari are always there when we need an extra hand regardless of the time of day or night. Tyler Skidmore works for us full time and helps with all the daily functions of the farm. Amanda Liffiton, Terry Muir and Cory Leiter made sure all the cows were bred this year and embryos transferred. Amanda Liffiton also did all the clipping and helped with pictures and videos. Cory has also helped calve cows, take pictures and videos, and whatever else has needed done. Emma Fruchey has done the feeding and assisted with many different farm tasks this year. I am so grateful for each and every one of these people. Our family has also been blessed with a tremendous support system and wonderful cattle friends across the country that have checked on us and offered helped. For all of this, we are grateful. All cattle are expected to be picked up by Friday, October 8th from Rolling Hills Farms. After Satday, October 10th cattle will be fed and cared for at a rate of $5.00/head/day.
