In the springtime (branding shots) calves receive a 5-way, nasal shot and autogenous vaccine. We precondition the calves prior to weaning and they get a booster post weaning. The heifers have been weaned for 60 days at sale time, poured and dewormed. For further health information, contact the owners or Dr. Larry Marshall.

She is the last calf out of 9538 who departed our herd this fall as a 15 year old. Acquired in the historic M&M Dispersal, while here 9538 was very productive raising 12 calves with a lifetime WW Ratio of 104, leaving behind severeal natural and ET daughters in our herd to carry on her legacy (including our cherished 8538, 1538 and 3538 cows). Even at the very end, 9538 had a really good udder and excellent feet under her. The cow potential in this one is tremendous, especially if she turns out anything like her dam. Sells open.

Another new sire group for Rennert Ranch is the FH Gun Runner 2024 group. To date, we are thrilled with what Gun Runner is doing: putting a ton of length of body, wide tops and powerful hips on his offspring. We purchased Gun Runner and his dam at the same time and immediatley sent her to the donor pen. We have a maternal sister to Gun Runner sired by Fargo that is amazing to look at. His sons are impressive, and we have a lot of confidence in what the females will do for us in the future. 4105’s dam is a great looking Front Range daughter going back to the 3805 cow who was a Diamond Dam of Distinction and is also the grand dam of RENN Cowboy Romeo 1505.
