We are proud of the bred sows, open gilts, and semen lots that we have assembled for the First Class Female Edition Volume 2. We feel this year’s sale offers limitless opportunities, whether you’re just getting started, an established breeder, or simply looking to invest in the showpig business we hope you find something that sparks your interest.

The lineup last year was stout, and well received. We are proud of the success stories from that sale, and value the relationships we’ve built with our supporters. I sincerely feel this year’s event offers even more depth of quality, with a few added unique opportunities.

All bred females are guaranteed to be bred, unless otherwise noted on sale day. All open gilts are guaranteed to breed, in the instance that a female does not breed an adjustment will be made that is satisfactory to the buyer.

DELIVERY

Loadout of females will be available immediately following the sale, and the following morning June 1st starting at 8 am. We will make multiple delivery trips after the sale taking into consideration the due dates of the breds. We will also work with third party haulers if needed to get all females delivered in a timely manner. All females delivered on the Hilty trailer will be free of charge, and all costs associated with third party haulers are the responsibility of the buyer. More specific route details and schedule will be available sale day.

All of the sows and gilts are healthy and in good condition with up to date vaccinations. Dr. Jeff Logue is our consulting veterinarian, and we strictly follow his vaccination protocol.

NEVER BEFORE X BLUE CAT

5-2 has earned the distinction of Lot 1 this year, and it wasn’t an easy decision. There was never a question of whether she earned that title, but the thought of parting ways with this special female makes me a little uneasy.Her list of accomplishments is long in terms of high sellers and show winners, but her greatest attribute may be the generating ability of her daughters. She currently has several daughters in production here that have become key contributors to our success. In addition to being a staple here, her daughters have also been doing great things for the likes of Premium Blend, Tru Genetics, Steve and Mark Gray, Rosebird, Decker, Graber Showpigs, the Selvidge Family, and others.We think we’ve figured out what works best on her, and this mating to Quite Frankly could be out of this world good.

CRUEL INTENTION X VISIONARY

LOT 2

Lot 2 represents a lot of things we want in a foundation type female! Her look, design, and her build are absolutely incredible. Her pedigree from a female perspective is to die for being a Cruel X Visionary, with the Visionary sow being 43-1. The 43-1 Visionary sow is American Made’s dam, and a littermate to the infamous Farnham sow (Rockstar’s Mom). She’s been awesome in the crate, and her first two litters have been highly sought after. We’ve retained 7 daughters that look the part, and that we hope can fill the void created by her departure. Carrying her third litter, and bred to the ultra popular Absolute at Heimer’s!

KINGPIN X AMERICAN BAD BOY

16-5 X

Lot 3 is another young sow that has a really intriguing pedigree, and has already proven to be a generator. She is sired by Kingpin, a boar that pops up on the bottom side of pedigrees frequently, and her dam 21-7 the Bad Boy sow, was the mother of the Reserve Grand barrow at the NWSS in 2020. Lot 3 farrowed her gilt litter in the spring of 22, and although it wasn’t blessed in terms of numbers it didn’t lack in quality. That litter generated Derek Miller’s barrow that won his class at Ohio, as well as the Fearon barrow that was campaigned successfully on the Ohio jackpot circuit. Her second litter knocked it out of the park, and was highlighted by our 60k male pig at The Established, and 6 keeper gilts. We love this sow and feel like she’s just scratching the surface of what she’s capable of. Quite Frankly matches this sow extremely well; unlimited potential right here!

NEVER BEFORE X AMERICAN BAD BOY

26-8 brings a sow that was a highly successful show gilt, since she went into production it didn’t take long to identify her as one of our key contributors. The Never Before sows have proven to be elite females industry wide, and this is one of our favorites. The fall of 22 litter sired by Tricked Out yielded a barrow that had a successful run for the Reed family in TX, and a gilt that had a good show career for Madelyn Gray, eventually bringing 13K at OYE. Her most recent litter sired by To The Extreme was her best to date highlighted by the leadoff barrow in our March sale that brought 13K, with that litter grossing 43k. We went back to the well and mated her to another Tricked Out son.

KINGPIN X CONTAGIOUS

We love what the Kingpin daughters have done, and lot 5 has done it as well as any of them in terms of generating bone and feature. Her dam 28-8 was the Lot 1 sow a few years ago at Heimer’s sow sale where we purchased half interest for 28K. 28-8’s biggest accolade was raising the grand barrow at OYE in 2017. Although she never raised a barrow of that caliber again, her daughters have been valuable assets here as well as Heimer’s. We are going to miss 52-7, but feel confident that her daughters will be able to carry the torch. Her upcoming litter of Glory Days should yield elite keeper gilts, and has the ability to generate a high dollar boar, or barrow that can win big. This may be the only opportunity in America to acquire a bred female carrying the service of GLORY DAYS!

Another daughter of 28-8, Lot 1 a few years ago in Heimer’s sow sale where we purchased half interest for 28K. 28-8’s biggest accolade was raising the grand barrow at OYE in 2017. Although she never raised a barrow of that caliber again, her daughters have been valuable assets here, as well as Heimer’s. 47-3 has consistently generated pigs that are big chested, round bodied, and good built. Good Company matches well with this sow, this could be a very quick return on investment.

The lot 7 sow is one of the more extreme breeding pieces in terms of rib, bone, and bulk in a balanced package. Her dam originated from Heimer and traces back to the Swagger sow that was the mother of Dirty South. She’s been incredible in the crate and generates the extra bone and feature that she has. Her most recent litter was sired by Tricked Out. We offered a couple of very popular prospects out of that litter in our March sale. We mated her to the Tricked Out son, To The Extreme, and with what we’ve seen out of those pigs, this could be her best litter yet!

SERVICE X SKYWIRE

If you’ve followed our program at all over the last couple of years you’ve likely heard me talk about the 27 litter Skywire sows. I firmly believe those sows put us on the map, and are still responsible for a lot of our success today. Lot 8 is a direct daughter of 27-8 and came from a deep litter with two mate barrows winning classes at Ohio, and another one winning his class at Indiana. Her build, proportions, and look have always been very good. She’s had her best litters when we’ve bred her to stoutness. Quite Frankly should match up well here. A daughter of 24-1 sells as lot 36.

Very neat sow that originates form the Heimer program! 14-10 looks like one you could still drop in a show ring today. She’s moderate, runs up hill, and has a striking look. Lot 10 generates the way she looks, her pigs are easy to sell and they feed. We are excited to see where she lands, and pumped to work with her daughters going forward.
