Introduction

At the beginning of this semester, I was told I was going to be writing my own book. I was so nervous because I have never done a project like this before. I didn ’t know what kind of book this was going to be. I remember during the first couple weeks, Mr.Rodriguez gave us instructions to choose the topic we were going to base our book on. At the start of this project I never thought the book was going to be about writing, but I’ m glad he gave everyone this opportunity. With this book, I hope people everywhere will be able to learn from it.

For my book ,I chose the topic of Classic Rock. This genre has always played a big part in my life. Listening to music is the one thing that can relieve me from my stress. I always find comfort in music and can listen to songs for hours at a time. My favorite memories are listening to music with my dad in the car. He would show me songs by The Beatles, The Doors, Queen and so many other classic rock bands. Classic rock will always be one of my favorite genres and I’ll never get tired listening to all these bands.
