NEW ORGANIC VEGETABLE GARDENING LIVE ONLINE

Discover how to raise livestock for local sale, how to implement preservation methods of meat and value added products, and how to retail local meats, among other important topics.

NEW BEEKEEPING FOR BEGINNERS

This class is in partnership with the Young Farmers of VA in Rockingham

Honeybee populations have been on the decline since 2006, but fortunately, becoming a beekeeper has gained significantly in popularity. You can do your part to preserve the honeybee, the most important insect responsible for pollination of our food crops, by becoming a beekeeper yourself! This class will help you get started as a beekeeper and, in addition, you will take part in discussions and handson training that will include producing honey and selling it locally.
