WINDOW of OPPORTUNIT Y Are you in the market for a new home in Breckenridge? Now is the time to buy real estate in a world-class destination. In 2014, the Summit County real estate market remained steady. After the all-too-recent recession a little steadiness is not so bad. There were a total of 1696 residential properties sold throughout Summit County, totaling just over $870,050,000. For the full year of 2014, the monetary volume was up 8 percent and the transaction volume up 7 percent from 2013. The number of emerging buyers is down slightly, but sales volume and average sale prices are generally up. With inventory at a five year low, the selling prices are gently trudging up, while days on the market are cautiously coming down. The Summit County condominium market did well this past year with an increase of almost 14 percent in the number of transactions. The average sales price per square foot also increased over 3 percent. The Summit County single family market was buoyant, almost exactly the same number of homes sold in 2014, as sold in 2013. The statistics are showing a 9 percent increase in the

average sales price of a single family. NOW is a great time to make a purchase in Summit County with very little risk. Next year, the home you want will likely be more expensive.
