THE LOAD-BEARING STRUCTURE
I rulli e i tensionatori sono montati all’interno di una rigida struttura chiusa di acciaio che scorre lungo le colonne portanti, rigidamente ancorate a terra e stabilizzate da tiranti in acciaio che ne assicurano una deformazione irrilevante ai fini del taglio. La deformazione delle colonne durante il taglio è stata verificata con calcoli matematici ad elementi finiti.
The drums and pulleys are installed inside a rigid, boxed steel structure, which runs along the load-bearing columns, stiffly anchored to the ground and stabilized with steel tie rods that ensure a next-to-nothing deformation for the cutting purpose. Column deformation while cutting has been checked using finite element mathematical calculations.
RULLI / PULEGGE I 5 gruppi rotanti, tutti di diametro di 1.000 mm, garantiscono il minimo affaticamento dei fili ed un consumo d’acqua di raffreddamento per filo tra i piÚ bassi. La rigidezza della struttura e la geometria a triangolo isoscele con fili di lunghezza contenuta a 20 metri garantisce la minore vibrazione dei fili durante il taglio, con conseguente migliore qualità di segagione e maggiore durata dei profili gommati.
DRUMS / PULLEYS Paragon five rotating drums, all of which have a diameter of 1.000 mm, guarantee minimum wire fatigue and a very low cooling water consumption. The rigidity of the structure and the isosceles triangular geometry with wires just 20 metres long guarantees lower wire vibrations while cutting, leading to higher cutting quality and longer service life of the rubber profiles.

Le pulegge tensionatrici, una per ogni filo, fulcrate su cuscinetti, vengono azionate ognuna da un singolo pistone idraulico onde assicurare una tensione uniforme e costante di ogni singolo filo, determinante per non avere fili che restano indietro per minore tensione che costringerebbero a rallentare la cala L’arco di movimento delle pulegge tensionatrici è molto ampio così il montaggio dei fili è risultato facilissimo, ed è stato eliminato ogni complicato sistema di pretensionamento. Il sistema di scale e passerelle consente un montaggio agevole, rapido e sicuro dei fili. I rulli motore e folle sono facilmente accessibili e protetti da un comodo carter scorrevole.
Wire stretching pulleys, one for each wire, rotate on bearings and are individually driven by a single hydraulic piston ensuring a uniform and constant tension of each wire; this is essential to prevent wires from being less tensioned, which would reduce the down-feed speed. The arc of movement of the wire stretching pulleys is very large, therefore the wire installation is very easy and any complicated prestretching system has been eliminated. The staircase and gangway system allows an easy, quick and safe installation of wires. Both idle and motorized rollers are easily accessible and protected by a sliding guard.

I RULLI GUIDAFILO REGOLABILI (su richiesta) Breton ha brevettato il posizionamento motorizzato indipendente dei due guidafilo, che viene proposto come optional. Ciascun guidafilo può avvicinarsi al blocco di 60 cm. I guidafilo possono quindi sempre essere posizionati in prossimità del blocco da segare, in questo modo: • La qualità di taglio ottenuta è sempre la migliore possibile. • La velocità di cala è sempre la massima possibile.

ADJUSTABLE DRIVING DRUMS (on request) Breton patented the independent, motorized positioning of the two wires driving drums, available as an option. Each wire driving drum can get as close to the block as 60 cm, therefore they can be positioned nearest the block. This means that: • The cutting quality is always the best. • The down feed is always the fastest.

CONTROLLO DI QUALITÁ Il 100% dei profili viene controllato dimensionalmente da dispositivo in automatico. A campione viene effettuato un controllo dimensionale da operatore.
QUALITY CONTROL 100% profiles are automatically dimensional tested by a specific device. Spot checks are also carried out by operators. Ogni profilo gommato viene codificato per consentire la sua tracciabilità nel tempo. Each rubber profile is coded to allow its traceability in time.
BRETON RUBBER PROFILE MANUFACTURING PLANT
IMPIANTO I profili in elastomero sono fabbricati da Breton nel suo nuovo impianto per colata (e non per estrusione), così la reticolazione delle molecole di poliuretano è multidirezionale per una maggiore resistenza all’usura.
PLANT Elastomer profiles are manufactured at Breton’s new plant by casting (not by extrusion) therefore the cross-link of polyurethane molecules is omnidirectional to enhance the wear resistance.
PROFILI GOMMATI I profili gommati sono bicolori, rossi e grigi per facilitare il montaggio del filo per gli operatori preposti. I profili sono proposti in quattro assetti a scelta del compratore:
• Profilo monogola per segagione a spessore 20 mm. • Profilo monogola per segagione a spessore 30 mm. • Profilo a tre gole intercalato da un profilo ad una gola che assicurano una maggiore durata dei profili avendo “spalle” più spesse, e sono finalizzati alla segagione degli spessori da 20 e 30 mm. • Profilo a tre gole per la segagione di spessori variabili.

Profile with three grooves interposed to one single groove profile to guarantee the longest profile life as it has thicker “side walls”, specifically designed for sawing 20 and 30 mm thicknesses.
