THE RANGE OF REVOLUTIONARY MULTI-WIRE MACHINES Paragon is Breton’s new range of multi-wire machines that includes units with drum width of 600, 800, 1000, 1600, 2000, or 2100, making Paragon the new point of reference on the market. The technical innovations of the Paragon range - from the geometry of the isosceles triangle wire layout to the identical diameter of all the wheels (1000mm) including the tensioning wheels operated by hydraulic cylinders - guarantee exceptional feed rates, uniform tension of the wires with minimal wire fatigue and greater durability of the rubber profiles; all aspects that combine to ensure optimal sawing quality.
Each guide wheel can approach the block and always assume a position in its immediate vicinity. Sawing quality is unparalleled while sawing structure feed rates remain consistently at the maximum possible levels. Thanks to a series of ladders and platforms, operators can perform wire changeover and repositioning operations rapidly and easily. Ease of use is assured also by the operator interface: a touch-screen colour display to program the machine and monitor the stages of the work process, also including a dedicated statistical section. There’s also a feature that allows Paragon to connect to the Breton service centre via Internet.

SINGLE-WIRE MACHINE EASYWIRE Machine for squaring blocks and cutting slabs and thick slabs, featuring a heavy-duty, arc-welded steel structure, which is heat treated to ensure the required stiffness of the system and a top cutting precision. It is provided with a 1.000 mm Ă˜ driving pulley actuated by an inverter controlled asynchronous motor that optimizes the wire peripheral speed in accordance with the material to be sawn. A driven pulley with the same diameter is constantly kept under tension
by a pneumatic cylinder thus giving the wire the ideal tension. The assembly is complemented by two independent 1.000 mm Ă˜ driven pulleys, and two wire driving pulleys installed next to the points where the wire gets into, and comes out from, the block to be sawn. Extremely user-friendly, the machine is provided with a control console with touch-screen housed in the electric cabinet and a mobile button panel to actuate the main working axes.

SQUARING SYSTEM EASYWIRE DUO System for squaring blocks and cutting slabs and thick slabs, consisting of two single-wire machines Easywire, one of which is stationary while the other moves on motorized wheels. This system, usually equipped with a motorized block-holding trolley with rotating loading platform, makes it possible to carry out two cuts at the same time.

RAIL-MOUNTED SINGLE-WIRE MACHINE Machine for squaring blocks and cutting slabs and thick slabs, performing a programmed and automatic cutting of several blocks placed on the floor. The machine features an arc-welded steel structure which is heat treated to ensure the required stiffness of the system and a top cutting precision. It is provided with a large diameter driving pulley to rotate the wires, actuated by belts and an inverter controlled asynchronous motor that optimizes the wire peripheral speed in accordance with the material to be sawn.
A driven pulley with the same diameter is constantly kept under tension by a pneumatic cylinder thus giving the wire the ideal tension. The assembly is complemented by two independent, upper driven pulleys and two wire driving pulleys installed next to the points where the wire gets into, and comes out from, the block. The machine is mounted on motorized wheels sliding on floor-fixed rails. Extremely simple to be operated, the machine is provided with a programming software with user-friendly interface for the execution of multiple cuts.

THE DOUBLE-WIRE MACHINE Machine for cutting slabs and thick slabs by means of two wires, featuring an arc-welded steel structure which is heat treated to ensure the required stiffness of the system and a top cutting precision. It is provided with two 1.000 mm Ă˜ driving pulleys, actuated by an inverter controlled asynchronous motor that optimizes the wire peripheral speed in accordance with the material to be sawn. Two pairs of driven pulleys with the same diameter are constantly kept under tension by two pneumatic cylinders thus giving the wire an ideal and independent tension.
The assembly is complemented by two additional, independent 1.000 mm Ă˜ driven pulleys and four wire driving pulleys. Extremely user-friendly, the machine is provided with a control console with touch-screen housed in the electric cabinet and a mobile button panel to actuate the main working axes. The adjustment of the distance between the wires is motorized and actuated from the button panel except for the wire driving units which need to be adjusted manually. The operator has just to check the real distance between the two wires.

2 AXIS SHAPING MACHINE FUEGO 4X FUEGO 4X reflects the innovative and technological spirit of Breton. It is a machine suitable for block shaping and slab/small blocks cutting, capable of interpolating 2 axes. It is usually equipped with a motorized block-holding trolley with brushless motor and loading platform; it enables to execute profiles such as columns, frames and shapes for funerary art and interior decoration, by interpolating the vertical cutting axis with the trolley advance horizontal axis.
Designed on the basis of the single-wire machine “FUEGO Multiaxis”, it is equipped with special wire-driving drums which can be oriented adjacent to the entrance and exit of the wire from the block in order to follow the cutting direction; it is equipped with special drives for axis positioning and with a powerful, user-friendly, CAD/CAM programming software to be installed on the customer’s computer.

10-AXIS SHAPING MACHINE Breton Fuego Multiaxis represents the quintessential innovative and technological spirit of the company. The machine, which can interpolate up to 10 axes, is designed for shaping and dimension sawing of large and small blocks by means of a diamond wire. Equipped with a turntable (linear movement and rotation of the block trolley), the Fuego can cut complex shapes including cylindrical and tapered columns, column cladding shells, profiles for furniture items, stairs, cornices.
This machine, which features a slide and two 1000 mm diameter pulleys on each column, operates with the diamond wire inclined by +/- 20° to saw blocks of a maximum of 1,800mm in height. The two slides move independently of one another, inclining the wire by descending to up to 30 cm below floor level. With the wire parallel to the floor the maximum distance between wire and block trolley support base is 2,200mm.

SPLITTING MACHINE Machine for splitting granite or marble slabs that slide on the motorized roller table, by means of a transverse diamond wire.
