ROBOCUP SYSTEMÂŽ - patented - is a revolutionary system that allows automating the positioning of the suction cups on the workbench as well as the piece loading and unloading. The spindle automatically selects the double-acting suction cups from the store and places them on the workbench at the exact position of the selfblocking valves according to both the preset working program and the pieces to be processed. A self-blocking device secures the suction cups to the workbench and it assures the piece to perfectly stop on the suction cup. Once the contouring has been carried out, the selfblocking device releases the pieces from the suction cups, the suction cups are then released from the workbench, the spindle automatically takes the suction cups and places them in the proper store, and finally a suitable pressure washing system washes the workbench before starting a new cycle.

BRETON SOFTWARES • to know all significant information about each single slab, such as material, thickness, square metres, etc. • to control and manage the whole raw material warehouse, knowing at any time the exact available quantity, which is classified according to material and thickness.

Breton FabMaster PRO “Breton FabMaster PRO” is the complete and automatic solution for workshops producing kitchen tops, vanity tops, etc. The whole production process can be planned and organized efficiently from the design phase up to the complete control of all the production stages. Materials, job orders, machining programs, are all activities which are managed from a single spot and are then allotted to the individual production units. MODULES COMPOSING THE SOFTWARE.

Module for the managemen of raw materials This module allows: • to know the exact position of each single slab and trace its different movements.

Project module This module allows to completely draw the piece to be realized, starting directly from the template or using the integrated CAD module. In this phase, libraries of objects (freely managed by the user) are available to simplify the project and make it faster. It is possible to link different materials and thickness (which may be selected from a library that can be enriched with pictures) to each single piece. In the same environment, it is possible to preset the various operations to be executed on the edge as well as possible laminations which are required to get the desired aesthetic effect. Module for the management of production This module allows: • to decide the real production course (working phases) for each single piece to be pro-duced on the respective linked machine; the optimal sequence is automatically proposed by the system according to the single machining operations which must be carried out on each individual piece. • to manage the different job orders which can also be batched, thus creating production lots (batches divided by type of material, thickness,

customer, delivery date, etc.), so as to optimize the material consumption. • to select the stored slabs which fit better the realization of the piece to be machined. • to arrange the single pieces to be produced on the slabs in the warehouse, checking thoroughly any possible collision with the cutting tools. While pieces move on the slab, it is possible to display the real “rendering” of the final project, giving special attention to both the material veins and single particulars, such as edge machining, rabbeted slots, backsplash, etc. • to generate automatically the CNC machine working programs through an interface with the CAD/ CAM of the machine (not included in the supply) starting from the unfinished cut piece. • to send the working programs to the single machines which will perform them automatically by reading the bar code of the piece. • to ensure the production traceability of the single pieces, thus knowing the real progress of the order. Even the manual working phases, or the working phases which are realized on operating units that cannot be interfaced with the system, can be monitored through the installation of “ControlPoints” (PC stations with bar code reader). On each individual production unit, it is possible to decide if the machining has been carried out properly, or if the piece must be machined again, while sending the information to the production manager.

BRETON MULTI TOUCH Breton Multi Touch, is the graphic user interface of Breton’s bridge saws for working marble&granite for kitchen countertops producers. Is installed on the machine, in a control panel with multi-touch colour monitor, and allows to program straight away the machining operations in a simple and intuitive way. Users are guided throughout their work since the Apps describe step by step the different development stages of the product, from drawing to processing (Apps similar to those on the common smartphones).

Breton Multi Touch, the user interface everyone was waiting for.

“Slab Editor” is the App that, controlling the digital camera installed on the machine, enables to acquire the slab image and draw its perimeter and defects by simply finger touching them on the multi-touch monitor. The slab is saved in a database containing its whole story: to which job order the slab is assigned, which are the pieces produced, what is the slab classification.

The “Cut Scheme” App arranges the cutting scheme in the best possible way either through the automatic nesting or manually entering with a simple finger touch the pieces which can be moved, rotated or coupled with other pieces thanks to the automatic snap.

The “Cut Move Editor” calculates the cutting sequence and the different handling operations needed for its execution, instead with the “Shape Editor” App it’s possible to draw using just a finger (is a multi-touch CAD installed on the machine and is used to import files, draw templates and design tops by means of practical parametric shapes). This revolutionary software was developed by the BRETON’s R&D department, and is the first one that is able to control this types of machines.
