Contourbreton NC 300 EVO è dotata di un’unità di governo a controllo numerico continuo (CNC) Siemens Sinumerik 840D SL dell’ultima generazione, a controllo digitale su architettura PC e un Personal Computer con sistema operativo Windows 7. Il quadro comandi con monitor touch screen a colori e porta USB è orientabile. Una piccola pulsantiera portatile duplica i comandi principali (gestione assi + volantino, arresto d’emergenza, ...) e consente all’operatore di controllare direttamente sul pezzo da lavorare, il corretto svolgimento di alcune operazioni particolarmente delicate.
Contourbreton NC 300 EVO incorporates the ultimate generation of the Siemens Sinumerik 840D SL computer numerical control (CNC), a digital control compatible with PC architecture, and a PC based on Windows 7 operating system. The control panel is swiveling, provided with keypad and color-touchscreen with USB port. A portable button panel duplicates the main machine controls (axes management + handwheel, emergency stop, etc.) consenting the operator to carry out and closely monitor all those delicate operations directly on the workpiece to be machined.

The CAM module allows to carry out the following major functions: • cutting with saw blade • contouring, profiling, drilling, milling and pocketing with milling or profiling tools • honing of surfaces, even inclined • milling and polishing of grooves, even on inclined surfaces • 3D engraving of Windows “True Type” fonts on flat horizontal or vertical surfaces • automatic generation of toolpaths based on a pre-defined technological table • fast editing of Lead In/Out toolpaths The CAD module also allows: • creation of two-dimensional drawings with relative dimensioning • import of drawings in DXF and DWG format from different CAD program or templating systems • automatic programming and display of the vacuum pods arrangement on the work table • interface with the software of a possible laser projector for arranging the vacuum pods on the work table The 3D SOLID SIMULATION module allows: • to check any possible tool-piece and/or tool-machine collision. The software operates in a Windows environment, is intuitive and user-friendly. NOTE: The software features may be limited by the technological and operational features of the machine.

PER POSIZIONARE AUTOMATICAMENTE LE VENTOSE SUL BANCO (brevetto breton) Il mandrino preleva automaticamente le speciali ventose a doppio effetto e le depone sulla esatta posizione programmata sul banco di lavoro in corrispondenza delle valvole del vuoto autobloccanti. Le ventose sono speciali, non necessitano di alimentazione elettrica, ma prendono il vuoto direttamente dalle valvole autobloccanti del banco sulle quali vengono posizionate, senza bisogno di tubi nĂŠ di rubinetti manuali di apertura/chiusura del vuoto.
FOR THE AUTOMATIC POSITIONING OF THE VACUUM CUPS ON THE TABLE (breton patent) The spindle will automatically pick up the special double effect vacuum cups and place them in the exact programmed position on the work table in correspondence with the self-blocking vacuum valves. These are special vacuum cups that do not need electrical power but will receive the vacuum directly from the self-blocking valves on the table where they are positioned, without the need of tubes or manual vacuum on/off valves. Once the finished pieces are removed, the valves will release the vacuum cups from the table, and the spindle will re-position them on the previously cleaned table. At request, together with the ROBOCUP system, an automatic pressure washing system for the work table and the storage for the vacuum cups, positioned at the back of the table, are available.
Una volta scaricati i pezzi lavorati, le valvole sbloccano le ventose dal banco, ed il mandrino le preleva e le riposiziona sul banco di lavoro, previa pulizia dello stesso. A richiesta assieme al sistema ROBOCUP viene fornito un sistema di lavaggio a pressione automatico del banco, ed un apposito magazzino per le ventose posizionato sulla parte posteriore del banco di lavoro.
UN ROBOT PER LA ROBOCUP Oggi è possibile migliorare ulteriormente le prestazioni e i tempi della Contourbreton NC 300 Robocup dotandola di un robot antropomorfo di manipolazione dei pezzi da lavorare attrezzato con mano di presa vacuum. L’applicazione robotizzata è realizzata da Breton in collaborazione con la società Optidrive, specializzata nella integrazione e softwarizzazione dei robot antropomorfi Kuka. L’applicazione robotizzata in oggetto consente di posizionare in automatico sulle ventose pezzi anche di grandi dimensioni (fino max 3.400x1.600m) prelevandoli dalla rulliera di alimentazione, in soli 34 secondi. Finito il lavoro, il robot ripone sulla rulliera di scarico la lastra lavorata, scaricando anche gli sfridi e lavando automaticamente il piano di lavoro.
A ROBOT FOR ROBOCUP It is now possible to further improve performance and cycle times for the Contourbreton NC 300 Robocup by equipping it with a workpiece manipulation anthropomorphic robot with vacuum end-of-arm tooling. The robotized application was created by Breton with Optidrive, a company specialized in Kuka anthropomorphic robot software and integration.
This robotized application allows to automatically position even large workpieces (up to 3.400x1.600m) on the pods, taking them from the feeding roller conveyor in a mere 34 seconds. When the job is finished, the robot places the machined slab on the unloading roller conveyor, while discharging chips and automatically washing the work table.

The PRODUCTION module is a tool that allows you to program, schedule and monitor all the different steps of your project. From the “production sheet” it is possible to trace the raw materials and all the components utilized, monitoring in real- time the actual status of human resources, providing to the machine operators all the scheduling activities to be performed. Also allow to monitor and trace the status of the all pieces (finished or not) and the machine operator activities in order to minimize mistakes.
