Collaborate Innovate Lead Workforce is everyone’s business.
Paula Just
Chair, CareerSource Brevard
Serving Brevard during periods of both high and low unemployment, is an exciting task. Each presents its own unique set of opportunities and challenges. And it is true that Workforce is everyone’s business. It takes nothing less than a community of concerned citizens, and needed to keep Brevard’s economy strong and its workforce healthy, today and tomorrow. Then you add a steadily dropping unemployment rate – a trend now becoming more of a standard – and you’ll find CareerSource Brevard, in collaboration with its partners, absolutely thriving at navigating this “new normal”. In program year 2017-18, this collaborative team set its sights on attracting and recruiting, as well as training and retaining, the talent Brevard’s employers need. Now it is my pleasure to present to you smart and strategic strategy initiatives and listening to the needs of Brevard’s employers. On behalf of the CareerSource Brevard Board of Directors, I thank you for taking a moment to learn a bit more about what CareerSource Brevard can do for you, your family, your business and your community.
