Excitement is building as Holladay Properties prepares to bring a major shopping development to Hanover County. Winding Brook, which has already opened for business with Bass Pro Shops, is now expected to open for business in the fall of 2010. The centerpiece of the project will be the Outlet Shoppes of Richmond, with 375,000 square

feet. P. Kay Pangranze, senior vice president for the Eastern Region of Holladay Properties, recently talked about the progress being made, as well as how momentum is growing for the completion of the 185-acre project. Located at Lakeridge Parkway, Winding Brook will include a 40-acre county park. According to Pangranze, the wheels started turning on the Winding Brook project

Ground is expected to be broken in early fall on the Outlet Shoppes at Richmond at the Winding Brook development on Lakeridge Parkway. Country Inn and Suites motel is now under construction. The developer, Holladay Properties, is targeting a fall 2010 opening for what should be a major economic boost to Hanover County.
