As an experienced fashion, beauty and lifestyle publicist, I am eager to pursue my next professional venture. With three years of industry experience exploring what the Public Relations and Marketing world have to offer in the states and abroad, I am looking to continue to expand my skill set and apply my expertise to the needs of your outstanding business. I have always been a determined individual looking to capitalize on all opportunities that come my way, as diverse knowledge from a diverse set of experiences continues to be the base for all that I do.

With experience in the fashion, beauty, lifestyle and hospitality industries, from event planning to media relations, brand development to social media content creation, blogger campaign management to strategic communications and budget negotiations, I feel confident to state that I would be the ideal candidate for this position. My true passion for this industry was solidified following my studies at the London College of Fashion. The diverse cultural landscape of the city opened my eyes to the endless stories behind every unique brand and persona; these were all stories I wanted to share with the world. I returned to the states looking to continue my professional growth in a city whose trademarked characteristics were just as impactful within this realm. This inspired my move to Los Angeles. As a Fashion Intern for Bollare Communications, I was able to experience the LA landscape as a uniquely celebrity driven environment focused on powerful brand associations and experiences. After excelling in this position to become Bollare’s interim Fashion Assistant, Bloomingdale’s Chicago reached out to bring me back to my roots as the interim Public Relations Assistant Manager. With the department in a state of transition, I was solely responsible for the publicity and event planning of their three Chicago locations. This position required an immense amount of organization and strong communication abilities as my daily tasks included working with a series of Bloomingdale’s vendors and outside businesses to organize and execute successful in-store events. With event planning as a renewed specialty of mine, transitioning back into traditional public relations was the natural next step to further my career. As Account Coordinator for Jo Chicago Public Relations, a respected hospitality and interior design firm in Chicago, securing traditional top tier press for our clients was top priority. In this position, I was able to hone in on my media relations talents and find great success through exercising the core of my abilities. As I navigated this new role, I quickly realized that being a lifestyle publicist is my destined profession. When Skirt PR, a nationally respected fashion, lifestyle and beauty firm reached out to bring me on as their PR/Social Media Assistant, I was elated to make this transition and solidify my talents within the social media world with its direct correlation and recent enhancement to traditional public relations. This leads me to today. After very unfortunate budget cuts in my last position, I am reaching out with hopes to become a member of your esteemed team. Beyond my professional profile, I greatly enjoy the art of photography, fashion styling, blogging, and incorporating some humor into my personal style because one’s day is not worthwhile without donning a comical Karl Lagerfeld t-shirt and a fuzzy baseball cap.
