T H A N K F U L F O R T H E M E M O R I E S
The happiest place on earth is now the quietest place you’ll ever find.
The cheerful background music, joyful laughter of fun and thrills, wails from overtred children, sighs from weary parents with tred feet, Mr. Potato Head’s razzing comments at the passing crowd, exhilarated screams from those racing around Screamin’s white tracks, funny puns and jokes from the Jungle Cruise’s pilots… all silenced by Covid. Like so much in life right now.
But Covid-19 cannot stop the turnstile to all our happiest memories. We each have archives of them! I am thankful for those, aren’t you? They keep us smiling and carrying on in hope that this pan-demic will soon be a memory! We’ll be the happiest people on earth!
In the meantime, I’m thankful for Zoom, outdoor patios, and YouTube, where we can visit the world and go on virtual Disneyland rides—even in Shanghai!
