his year, being our 25th anniversary, we wanted to do something a bit special locally. The charity we decided to work with was the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice. Anyone who has had to experience their service will have no hesitation in appreciating what incredible work they do.
To that end we arranged some events and made the contribution of 3 Cars in order that Homecare could be brought to a lot more people locally. So far, halfway through this fundraising year we thought we should share some highlights!

his extraordinary effort by Carlo Stocchetti, Dan Pockett, Charles Convery, Robert Stocchetti, Damon Wilgoss & Tom Kennedy was possibly the most gruelling challenge I have heard of!

s sponsors of Aldershot Town FC the Chairman, Shahid Azeem, allows us to play on the hallowed turf at the recreation ground.
THEY DID IT !!!! Well done guys and so far over £1,400 raised! What they had expected to be 16 miles of an up & downhill challenge turned out to be 24 miles, mostly UP and had to be completed within 24 hours! Starting at 7.30am they finally collapsed into their hotel at 9.45pm. An AMAZING ACHIEVEMENT netting the hospice over £1,400!
David Stevens aka ‘Twinkletoes’ Our staff love the privilege but we charge each player to participate with all proceeds to our chosen charity that year. The game this year was fantastic. The Phyllis Tuckwell team, led by ex England Goalkeeper David James won a fabulous, hard fought contest 3-2!

Fans of both teams turned up to give great support and over £2000 was raised. Our Chairman, Tony Raffermati, (who really shouldn’t be playing at his age!) broke his ankle in a challenge with David truly putting his body on the line for such a great cause!

EVERY LAST FRIDAY OF THE MONTH our staff make a contribution to the fund to enable them to wear their favourite clothes for a day! CHARITY CRICKET MATCH August 18th. ON 16TH SEPTEMBER a huge reunion of past & present staff will take place at the Princes Hall where we will hold an auction & a raffle with all the proceeds going to the Hospice.
David & his partner Lizzie trained for 8 weeks before appearing in a ‘Strictly’ type competition at Lakeside. They managed to raise over £700 for Phyllis Tuckwell. David’s inability to dance and his desire to do things that scare him, meant ‘strictly learn to dance’ was a perfect choice. After now getting through to the night, our fears were justified as Lakeside was packed out. Special mention to Angie’s School of Dance, who were absolutely fantastic. Angie and Steph were just great....an inspiration and who give their time every year for this great cause. Special thanks to Laura and Fiona who were with us every step of the way!
