The Sherman House was abuzz with glamorous models, family, and friends Thursday evening as everyone prepared for the Spring Senior Fashion Show. Ten senior models from the JCC and Sherman House strutted down the runway wearing their finest spring attire while being accompanied by both Addlestone Hebrew Academy students and YAD members. Ensemble Consignment, Affordables, and Butterfly Consignments lent our models accessories to display and AJ Snow from Ascend Entertainment was an incredible emcee for the evening and kept the models and the audience energized. Thank you to all of our volunteers for making this fun night possible.

As the school year comes to an end, and the weather warms up, children wait anxiously for summer. Summer is all about singing camp songs, laughing merrily down the halls, splashing in the Pearlstine pool and cooling off with a freeze pop. What better place to enjoy summer than at the Charleston JCC’s Camp Baker? As we approach our 66th summer, we know that we have consistently provided quality care, an extensive range of extracurricular activities, great swim instructors, and a safe, loving environment. As former campers, we can truly attest to the fun and fond memories that we’ve enjoyed at JCC camps. It is that love, diversity, and welcoming arms from the Jewish community that has brought us back summer after summer. The goal of the Camp Baker Management Team is to ensure that your child comes home sharing tales of their fun-filled adventures and to wake up excited and ready for another day at Camp Baker. In the words of our director, Brian DeBolt,
*Fitness participants, please park in the portion of our lot closest to the recreational fields. From there follow the signs and marked path to our Saturday Fitness Entrance.
