TEAM EFFORT FOR A CALM BIRTH

LEA BAILEY

Keep it calm. I am Lea Bailey of Calmbirth offering reassurance during pregnancy. My passion is to help you through the cycles of pregnancy, and provide strategies to ensure your family has a positive experience before and during the birth of your children, and how to nurture your connection with your unborn child.

A Registered Endorsed Midwife for 24 years, I offer face to face and Zoom sessions. My goal is to share my knowledge by offering educational advice and information. But not only that, I offer comfort and support during this special time and family milestone.

Understanding how your body works during birth can make the birthing experience less daunting and doable. Drawing on my background, I share ways of coming to birth, I encourage normal birth and strive to help you achieve positive outcomes for your family.

The Calmbirth Course prepares you for the stages of labour and birth. What’s great about working with me is my ability to make you feel calm and relax about your journey to childbirth.

“After finishing our course with Lea, I felt informed, empowered and we had realistic expectations of what was going to happen.” Lisa.

CALMBIRTH is a leading Australian Antenatal Education Program, and delivers the foundation to help couples understand their roles on the road to childbirth offering simplistic information. Learn with me about the bodymind relationship, how to breathe and relax, the hormonal influence and more. Be prepared emotionally, mentally and physically for your birth. Whether new to becoming a parent or adding to your tribe, I am committed to giving you the best guidance to embracing this natural part of life.

I walk you through this 12-hour evidence based course offering my insights and answering questions along the way, and I feel humbled and privileged to be part of your journey. Having someone to talk with and learn from can make the difference in the holistic experience of pregnancy and birth. Learn the steps from pregnancy to birth, and having a birth plan in place will give you and your partner peace of mind, and the opportunity to concentrate on what’s important to you.

With knowledge comes contentment, understanding how Breath & Relaxation techniques are a pivotal part of the birthing process as well as reducing stress can give you a sense of calm. The ideal time to start your journey with me and Calmbirth is about 24 and 34 week gestation, but this is just a guide. I am happy to talk with you at any stage of your pregnancy particularly if you have experienced difficulties in the past or feel anxious about the birthing process.
