DEAR BRISTOL FAMILY: Welcome to the Last Great Colosseum! The anticipation surrounding the Pilot Flying J Battle at Bristol has reached a fever pitch, and we are thrilled to welcome you to the Bristol Motor Speedway to witness the world’s largest college football game ever played! We couldn’t be more proud that the time has finally arrived for the big game that has been 20 years in the making. It’s incredible how three years have flown by since our initial announcement of this epic border battle. And the excitement around the matchup between Tennessee and Virginia Tech inside NASCAR’s iconic short track has grown even larger with the announcements of the game’s sponsor Pilot Flying J, a giant musical tailgate party the night before the game, and the live broadcast of the game to a national audience primetime on ABC. The weekend kicks off on Friday with the Honda Ridgeline Presents Bristol’s Tailgate Party starring East Tennessee native Kenny Chesney, with special guests The Band Perry and Old Dominion. This extravaganza lines up one of the biggest names in country music with a well-known country music trio and local favorite in The Band Perry and a dynamic up-and-coming act in Old Dominion. On Saturday, be sure to arrive early and enjoy the numerous sponsor displays and tailgates. Regardless of whether you are a Volunteer or Hokie fan, you will want to be on site for the official Team Walks. Once you enter the gates of Bristol Motor Speedway, you will be amazed to see a football experience that will easily surpass any game ever played before. Set for an 8 p.m. kickoff, the Pilot Flying J Battle at Bristol is sure to be an outof-this world experience. There will truly be nothing like it! One of the things we are most proud of is the addition of Colossus TV, the world’s largest outdoor, center-hung, 4-sided video display. It’s going to be a game changer for the Pilot Flying J Battle at Bristol! Featuring screens that are 4.5 times larger than the old screens, with the highest viewing quality of any permanent outdoor display in the world, Colossus TV is sure to make a gigantic impact on your football experience inside the World’s Fastest HalfMile. In addition to this Guest Guide, be sure to download the brand new BMS mobile app, free in the App Store and on Google Play, where you can access everything you need to know to make your Battle experience the most exciting game day ever. Please let me know if you need anything at all. We are here to exceed your expectations, and want you to walk away saying, “It’s Bristol Baby”! Sincerely,

ON BEHALF OF OUR 24,000 TEAM MEMBERS AT PILOT FLYING J, I’D LIKE TO WELCOME YOU TO THE PILOT FLYING J BATTLE AT BRISTOL. We are proud to sponsor this record-breaking football game here at the famous Bristol Motor Speedway. The Bristol Motor Speedway team transformed this outstanding venue to transcend sport and provide the ultimate college football experience for the players and fans. Pilot Flying J is honored to be a part of this historic event between the University of Tennessee and Virginia Tech – two teams with tremendous football histories. This region is home to both Pilot Flying J and our family. In fact, my dad played on the 1951 National Championship team at Tennessee, and after serving his country in the U.S. Army, opened the first Pilot gas station in Gate City, Virginia, just 30 miles from this speedway. I know most of you have ventured on some sort of journey, be it near or far, to be here for this one-of-a-kind experience. At Pilot Flying J we believe in fueling life’s journeys, and we hope the next time you are on the road, you will stop by and let Pilot Flying J take care of your traveling needs. Enjoy the game and the festivities, and we hope you’ll learn more about Pilot Flying J while you’re here. Sincerely,

Jimmy Haslam CEO, Pilot Flying J

TAILGATING Tailgating guidelines have been developed to provide a safe experience for all guests, and are intended to be fair and reasonable for you and your tailgating neighbors. These guidelines apply to both parking and camping tailgating. For everyone’s enjoyment, all guests must observe the following guidelines. • Tailgating is defined as the placement of any item on the ground (tents, chairs, coolers, grills, games, etc.). • Tailgating is permitted in front of or behind your vehicle or camper, not in any parking spaces (other than your own) and cannot extend into the roadway. • Roadways must be clear and allow for emergency personnel to pass through each parking aisle at all times. • Dispose of trash in an appropriate trash bag. Tie-off all trash bags and place at the end of your vehicle or camper in the aisle way for disposal prior to heading to the stadium. • No open fires allowed at any time. Small, covered fires (such as charcoal and gas cooking) are permitted within appropriate devices. Fully extinguish fire before leaving. Do not dispose of coals/ashes by dumping on the ground or by placing in trash receptacles. • Disorderly conduct by any guests will not be tolerated. • Picketing, political campaigning or soliciting/distributing of any kind is prohibited in parking, camping and tailgating area
