Dear Bristol Family: Are you ready to rumble?! We are so excited for another historic and action-packed Bristol August Race Week. Bristol is an incredibly special place to visit but what makes it truly special is you, and everyone who joins us from all over the world for this genuinely American event. The week kicks off with a doubleheader on Wednesday night that you do not want to miss. The passionate gladiators of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Series will compete in the Titan Roof 150. Following that race is a half-mile throwdown with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series UNOH 200. The week continues with Thursday’s amazing downtown Bristol race festival, Food City Race Night. We culminate Thursday with the always popular Ford Transporter Parade down Volunteer Parkway (that ends right here at Bristol Motor Speedway). All of this leads to the two most exciting races in NASCAR. Friday’s events run all day with NASCAR Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series Practice, Sharpie Pole Qualifying and finish with the young guns of the NASCAR Nationwide Series duking it out in the Food City 250. All of this tension leads to the best race in all of NASCAR, the IRWIN Tools Night Race, where the battle will ensue at the Last Great Colosseum. Don’t miss Dale Jr., Tony, Jimmie, Harvick, Gordon, Edwards, Busch, Keselowski and more create 500 laps of mayhem. Don’t forget to grab a 3D Map and Schedule or download the Bristol Mobile App to enhance your experience while you are here. Again, we’re so glad you’ve joined us here. Whether you traveled from right around the corner or from thousands of miles away, know that you are always welcome here at Bristol and we now, and will forever, consider you family. We’ve got the best team in the business working for you, committed to making your experience here unforgettable. To that end, please don’t hesitate to let me know how your weekend goes and if there’s anything we can do to make it better. Contact me at jerry@ bristolmotorspeedway.com, or please visit bristolmotorspeedway. com to tell us your experience. I hope you have a fantastic week. Thank you for choosing Bristol! Sincerely,

Jerry Caldwell, General Manager

GUEST GUIDE • 2013 AUGUST RACE WEEK

DRIVING DIRECTIONS FYI: Please keep in mind, in an effort to ensure smooth traffic flow, guests may be directed to turn in the opposite direction from which they entered when exiting certain parking areas. Please check with parking property owners for details. Please check www. bristolmotorspeedway.com for more information regarding directions and parking. Traveling from the North, the most direct route to Bristol Motor Speedway from Interstate 81 is Virginia Exit 3. Hwy. 11E will take you directly to the Speedway. HOWEVER, this route tends to become extremely congested during race weekends and other routes to the Speedway & Dragway are advised. From the North, guests may take Virginia Exit 17 off I-81 and turn left on Hwy. 75. At the Tennessee border, the road changes to Hwy. 44. Continue on this route until the stop sign at U.S. 421. Turn right on 421 and stay on it until the traffic light at Hwy. 394. Turn left and proceed approximately six miles to Bristol Motor Speedway & Dragway. Traveling from the South, take Tennessee Exit 69 off I-81. Turn right at the bottom of the ramp onto Hwy. 394. Bristol Motor Speedway & Dragway are located on the left side of Hwy. 394. BUT THIS ALSO IS THE MOST CONGESTED ROUTE FROM THIS DIRECTION. AS AN OPTION... Traveling from the South, guests should consider using alternate routes, including exit 57A on I-81 to I-26E toward Johnson City and taking US11E exit to Bristol Motor Speedway. Please check www.bristolmotorspeedway.com for more information regarding directions and parking.
