WELCOME

O

ur world is fi nally turning back to something like normal, spring has sprung and how fantastic to have the NA ive Star inter hampionships back in its rightful place in the calendar with artpury sprinkling its proper magic over proceedings. e were fortunate to witness some wonderful performances over the five packed days, with much to look forward to from the huge number of exciting young horses coming through the grades to collect the spoils. oung riders also kept the older ones on their toes too, capturing notable crowns. Technology has become such a vital part of our lives over the last couple of years, and we’ve got used to having access to a virtual world through a screen if we can’t be somewhere in person. So while we’re enjoying getting out to shows as spectators again we witnessed plenty of happy faces, and yes full carrier bags from that all important shopping at artpury it seems fitting that ritish ressage has been able to announce a new partnership with orse ountry to stream live and on demand coverage of dressage. hen work, life or even riding gets in the way of watching the sport or catching up with masterclasses, training insights or features, it will be there online when you are ready. See News on page for more details. ith that in mind, it may seem odd that we have returned to printing schedules in this maga ine from this issue onwards. The website is the essential resource for the latest information on dates, venues and classes, but we have responded to feedback from members who were overwhelmingly keen to see schedules back in printed form. e’ve simplified the format a little to make it easier to pick out your classes and plan your campaign, and will add regular updates about sponsors, championships and venues. So sit down with a cuppa and a biscuit, fi nd a highlighter pen and start working out where you are headed next, starting from page . The best traditions are worth keeping THE OFFIC IAL
