THE

JORŌGUMO Kanji “Binding Women” A cold hearted and skillful deceiver with a cunning intelligence. She weaves her golden silk web around the feet of her victims, whom unfortunately mistaken this malevolent yokai for an enchanting seductress, and devours them slowly after they have been poisoned by her venom. Her species of orb weavers, Nephila Clavata, live for 400 years as an arachnid and then transforms into the Jorogumo-inheriting powers to shapeshift into human form.
