The pupils attending the day camps will have the opportunity to be with children from many countries as activities will be combined.

ACTIVITY DAY CAMPS

• Our Activity Day Camps are fun sports and craft based activities for boys and girls aged between 8 and 14 inclusive (Years 3-9). They are run by qualified and experienced coaches (CRB Checked), with many of the course leaders also being full time teachers or staff members at Bromsgrove School, assuring the very best experience for your child. • The Activity Day Camps run from 8.30am until 5.45pm each weekday. If you wish to collect your child early, please confirm this on the day. Drop off and collection is from the bottom of the Hospitality Suite. All parents must sign their child/ren in and out each day.

A typical day 8.30am: Arrival and Roll Call 9.00am - 10.00am: Session 1 10.00am - 10.15am: Break 10.15am - 11.15am: Session 2 11.15am - 11.30am: Break 11.30am - 12.45pm: Session 3 12.45pm - 13.45pm: Lunch 13.50pm-14.00pm: Roll Call 14.00pm - 15.15pm: Session 4 15.15pm - 15.30pm: Break 15.30pm - 16.45pm: Session 5 16.45pm - 17.45pm: Early pick-up or extra time in the Hospitality Suite with board games 17.45pm: Activity Camp finishes for the day Depending on the activity taking place, some sessions may be double lessons (for example, cookery).

Integration with international students for activities. A variety of on-site sports available everyday. State of the art Sports Arena, Astro Pitches, Gym and Coffee Shop on site. Our daily summer activities on offer include: Arts & Crafts, Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Cookery, Cricket, Dance, Drama, Football, Gymnastics, Hockey, Mad Science, Martial Arts, Netball, Photography, Swimming, Tennis, Textiles. The activities and sports may be subject to change at any time and will be based on demand.

SPORTS DAY CAMPS

• The Summer Hockey Camps are for boys and girls aged between 8 and 18 years old (Years 3-13). They are run by qualified and experienced coaches (CRB Checked), with the course leaders also being full time teachers at Bromsgrove School, assuring the very best experience for your child. • The Hockey Camps run from 10am until 4pm each day. Drop off and collection is from the bottom of the Hospitality Suite. All parents must sign their child/ren in and out each day. • All students will receive specialist elite coaching in hockey. • State of the art sports arena, astro pitches and coffee shop on site.

Places are limited so please complete the booking form attached and return to Bromsgrove School at least four weeks before the camps begin. Sports Camps will only run if the minimum required number of bookings is met.

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU ON THE DAY

• Please arrive with the appropriate sports equipment (and a swimming kit each day if you are on the Activity Day Camps). For the Activity Camps, we group children by age and create an outline timetable. Pupils are allowed to swap activities if there is sufficient space.

Booking Terms and Conditions 1.

All children taking part in swimming and other water-based activities must be able to swim 50 metres unaided. 2. Children will be placed whenever possible on the course/s of their choice, however Bromsgrove School will offer an alternative course if this is not possible. Activities wil only take place if there is sufficient demand, as deemed by Bromsgrove School. 3. If after acceptance of a booking the client wishes to change any aspect of the booking, Bromsgrove School will endeavour to effect such an alteration. However if this is not possible the client shall be bound by the original booking. 4. Places can be cancelled up to 2 weeks prior to the booked date with a 50% refund. After this date no refund wil be given. 5. No compensation will be paid or refund given if courses arranged by Bromsgrove are cancelled due to war, strikes, riot or quanrantine, or any other reasons beyond the control of Bromsgrove School. No compensation will be paid or refund given for cancellation of courses due to technical problems with transport or weather conditions, which in the opinion of Bromsgrove School, make the provision or continuation of the course impractical. 6. Bromsgrove School, its servants, agents and employees do not accept liability in respect of injury, sickness, loss or damage to property, unless

caused by negligence. 7. Any regulations which might be necessary for Bromsgrove School to make in the interests of safety and comfort must be observed by those taking part. 8. As in all sports acivities children will be asked to remove all jewellery. Any child wearing jewellery will not be permitted to take part in sports activities. 9. Bromsgrove School cannot accept liability for children’s personal possessions such as mobile phones or MP3 players etc. 10. Any discounts shown only apply to the course/s named on the page and may be withdrawn at any time. 11. We reserve the right without refund to exclude or refuse any person at any time, prior to or during the Activity Camps, if in our opinion that person is not compatible with the general enjoyment and well-being of the Activity Camp. 12. All the advertised courses are subject to change according to weather, demand, programming requirements and other considerations. 13. Children are unable to attend without a completed form, signed by a parent or guardian.Parents are not to leave their children unless accepted in writing onto one of the courses. 14. A qualified nurse will be on duty at all times. A Doctor will be on-call.
