OUR MISSION Where a world of luxury and reality meets, Scintilla serves to deliver only the best in exclusivity, materials and craftmanship without the luxurious pricetags to match.


FINAL LOGO DESIGN The Scintilla logo portrays elements of the brand name. ‘Scintilla’ is the latin word for ‘to twinkle, as the stars’ and so it involves a spray of varying sized dots to emphasise this. The fonts used are playful whilst still classy which sums up our brand on the whole.


ACCEPTABLE COLOUR VARIATIONS OF THE LOGO

These are the four main Scintilla logo forms. A rose gold foil is primarily utilized when the logo is on any printed collateral, whilst the plain black and printed rose gold colour versions are used on imagery and solid brand elements.

LOGO ON PHOTOGRAPHY

When the logo is used on photography, sale and colour plays a large role. The background must not be too distracting against the logo and the same goes for the colours used All of these elemnts must compliment eachother.


TYPOGRAPHY LETTER GOTHIC STD

Stylish Calligraphy

The letter gothic std font family is equipped for a fresh and clean typograthy. It’s simple and the variety of charaters are useful for the use of both titles and subtitles.

This font is only used for my logo font as this partiular font is hard to read when small. It is playful yet sophistiated, working well for my logo to represent my brand.

When writing about my brand, scintilla should always be in bold so that it stands out in a body of text. Dividers make a body of font look more organised and easier to read.


SWING TAGS The star swing tag is used for ages 0-3 years old as it is more playful. It features a layer of fog paper with an embossed ‘S’. Underneath is a second layer of rose gold metallic paper where the garment details is printed on in black. It hangs with a gold ribbon.


The second swing tag is for ages 4-11 years old featuring a folded piece of card. It is finished with a rose gold foil and a rose gold metal ring for the ribbon. The logo on the front is also finished with a rose gold foil for a lxurious look.


PACKAGING

All Sintilla garments are posted in a magnetic, white fold box. Wrapped in postage paper and sealed with a wax gold stamp, we ensure a seure delivery for our clients. Included in the box is a receipt for the transaction. This is encased in a beige envelope with a rose gold finish inside. Again this is finished with the wax stamp for further security whilst also providing a luxury service.


BUSINESS CARDS

The business card is made from a white card pressed over a rose gold foil to create the middle of the card. The front of the card features the logo with the the brand name embossed tp create a surafce texture. The background ‘S’ is simply printed a light grey whilst the surounding spray of dots is made from a rose gold foil. On the back of the business card, it has large ‘S’ embossed on the left. All the infomation is printed in plain black text whilst the buttons for the information are printed with a rose gold foil. Both the front and backs of the card have a rose gold border for an elegant finish.


SHOP LAYOUT


This is the dressing/ tailoring room. The boutiques for Scintilla focus solely on a comfortable whilst classy environment for our client and their child. We opted for a grey colour theme. The floor is made from a velvet grey carpet whilst infront of the shabby/chic vintage mirror, there is a marble podium; for fittings and one on ones. The logo is printed at the back of the boutique. The boutique has two feature walls of silver glitter paper as this works as a backdrop for photos whilst also fitting in well with the tagline of Scintilla.


MOBILE DESIGN

Scintilla sticks to a clean and simple layout. The colour schemes are stuck to as are our font styles. Our instagram page uses the logo for a display picture as this is used as our bait button on instagram advertising. The viewer is then met by a short introduction, summing up Scintilla. The web layout is basic and clean, making it easy to follow. The home page acts as a story for the brand showcasing Scintilla’s most recent achievemtns and collections.

SCINTILLA’S DOLLS For a clever marketing strategy, Scintilla introduced their collection of ‘Scintilla’s Dolls’. For every garment bought at Scintilla, you get a free doll. This doll is designed and made by Scintilla with a unique one of a kind look. The doll comes with a matching dress specific to the one bought by the client. The doll is made from soft materials and is stuffed with fluff for a soft, plush feeling. From this, Scintilla hopes to promote their brand through children. Almost all children see their friend with a toy and that makes them want it and so on. This is how word gets out about new trends in a child world. By creating ‘Scintilla’s Dolls’, we hope to start a trend where children want our clothes not only to feel like a little princess, but to also get an adorable matching teddy to style their garments with. Not only will this work as a buying strategy, but it will look adorable in pictures, when little girls are playing in their party dresses with their matching dolls. We make all of our dresses carefully so that your little girls truly look like perfect dolls in our dresses. We encourage our clients to post pictures of their children in our dresses with the hashtag ‘#ScintillaDoll’, to help us gain exposure.



AURA SS18 COLLECTION Scintilla’s 20th collection is celebrated with an exclusive collection of elegant dresses with an elegant pastel and nude colour theme. All of Scintilla’s collections are showcased and advertised in this design manner, on Scintilla’s dolls.

OUR STORY The doors open to the annual ‘mummy and me’ ball and in walks our client with her daughter in hand. All eyes are on her little girl dressed in Scintilla’s SS18 ‘AURA’ dress, with her matching scintilla doll in hand. The detail of the dress dazzles in the spotlights of the party as they cross the dancefloor. They find their seats where they’re met by a group of friends; ready for the party of the year. The little girl and all of her friends play with her one of a kind Scintilla doll whilst all the mums sit in awe at the originality of the gorgeous dress our clients daughter is wearing. When told it was from Scintilla, none were shocked as anyone could have expected only this level of exclusivity and craftmanship from one of the leading luxury brands in the world of kidswear. Our client boasts about the high standard of care she recieved whilst shopping with Scintilla and talks of how it was a difficult decison chosing between the beautiful dresses from the exclusive collection.
