URBAN CEMETERY SEMESTER 2
Time’s Labyrinth was my answer to dealing with the value of land that an urban cemetery possesses. I designed a labyrinth created with JODVV EULFNV ZKLFK ZRXOG EH ÀOOHG ZLWK FUHPDWLRQ ashes. The bricks would rise in height overr decades and would become a monument to those who have passed.

JARETH DOME
CHICAGO ART DEPARTMENT INSTALLATION SEMESTER 2 Jareth Dome was created for the Chicago Art Department’s fundraiser event, The Crystal Ball. It was made out of hundreds of recycled newspaper fortune tellers, glue, spray paint, and string to raise it a foot above the ground. It served as a quiet space for guests to take a break from the festivities for a short moment.

MILWAUKEE PUBLIC MARKET SEMESTER 3 Parket is a park on top, public market below. The site slopes 14’ from corner to corner allowing enough space for a market to slide underneath the park above. A mosaic of positive and negative space creates light wells, event spaces, and seating. The deliberate placement of the mosaic creates a simple and easy to navigate market circulation below. UP

GROVE HALL
UWM RESIDENCE HALL SEMESTER 3 Grove Hall was created to connect the rain garden to the south of the site with the oak grove to the north of the site. It used a curvilinear path that is a juxtaposition with the strict building form. The facade acts as a transition between the busy forms of campus with the calmer oak grove. Finally, the colored columns call back to the slanted verticals of the trees in the oak grove. This created a lively green space between two already great green spaces on campus. S1

HYPERLOOP RESEARCH
FEASIBILITY REPORT SEMESTER 3
Hyperloop is a proposed transportation solution, which acts likes a train, but in a depressurized tube. This allows for traveling speeds as fast as 800 mph. My hyperloop research was part of a student organization called Badgerloop out of UW Madison who received third in an international competition for WKH GHVLJQ RI WKH ÀUVW HYHU K\SHUORRS SRGV , FUHDWHG a feasibility report for Badgerloop of a hyperloop line running from Milwaukee to Madison. I did analysis on FRVWV URXWH DOLJQPHQW VLWH GHYHORSPHQW HIÀFLHQF\ networks, and tube structure. Currently, in studio, I’m designing a transportation hub for a site just south of downtown Chicago that will include hyperloop as a form of regional travel. I’m hoping to create multiple connections from the neighborhood scale to a national scale under one roof.
