STEM
In Kindergarten, students and parents got busy engineering paintbrushes! Students are working on learning the design process in STEM and how structure and function play a role in design. After building beanstalks with Jack and houses to keep the big bad wolf out, students were ready to take it to the next level. These paint brushes are original “To raise new questions, new possibilities, to regard old problems from a new angle, requires creative imagination and marks real advance in science. - Albert Einstein
designs from our very own students-and they can actually paint! Thank you to all the family members that came out to help with this project. It was a ton of fun!

THE TASSEL IS WORTH THE HASSLE!
On Tuesday, February 19th we had “A Tassel is Worth the Hassle Assembly for grades 2nd - 4th about College University Life. We had the pleasure of having Melinda Geddes (cousin of Chana Harry) here who is a graduate of Fisk University. Mrs. Geddes talked to the students about her college experience as well as gave encouraging words about college. The students were able to ask questions about why she felt the tassel was worth the hassle.
