orkaholics is an American sitcom that premiered on Comedy Central on April 6, 2011. The series is predominantly written by its stars Blake Anderson, Adam DeVine, Anders Holm, and co-creator Kyle Newacheck who play, respectively, three recent college dropouts, roommates, and co-workers at a telemarketing company—and their drug dealer, in Rancho Cucamonga, California. The series has aired five seasons and has been renewed for a sixth and seventh. The main characters became acquaintances at college where Blake and Adam were roommates and Anders was their resident advisor, and, in a phase-of-life transition, continue to do things associated with college after dropping out (drinking, partying, pranks, etc.) as they transition into adulthood. The “friendship family’s” action is generally confined to the main characters’ house and their workspace, a cubicle the three of them share at a telemarketing company called TelAmeriCorp.

Anders
Tofin Holmvik, or Ders as his friends call him, is a former college swimmer and RA for Blake and Adam. Anders smokes cigars and many would say he has the loosest butthole because he is the most responsible of the three, which isn’t really saying a lot. He owns an old, red, crappy Volvo which is really the only form of transportation the three of them have. In turn, he carpools with Blake and Adam to TeleAmeriCorp. He’s the most ambitious of the three and talks about how his dad is very successful. Even though he might be the most responsible and least fun of the three, he still enjoys smoking and drinking as much as Blake and Adam. He is of Norwegian descent and also really enjoys freestyle rapping, black culture, and seemingly anything pornographic involving black people. He also enjoys pulling off pranks, but is not a fan of getting pranked himself.

Adam
e’s the guy at the party who’s EVERYONE’s friend, but won’t remember one name. He gregariously skates through life on his self – proclaimed animal magnetism. Adam’s a dim bulb, but his gift of gab makes him a born salesman and he actually likes his job because he’s good at it. He never prepares. Strictly instinct. Which sometimes works out and always leaves people in his wake. Adam constantly hits on his boss, Alice Murphy, but she constantly shoots him down in the most insulting ways.Overall, he’s someone you’d want to work with, not because you can trust him – you can’t – but because he’s probably got a sixer of Rolling Rock on his desk. Adam is considered the dumbest and most troublesome of the three due to his fun-allthe-time mentality. However, his talkative, yet friendly attitude allows him to acquire friends and being a successful salesman. He enjoys drugs, buttfun, and drinking, especially Rolling Rock beer. In addition, Adam enjoys money.

Blake

lake “The Fart” Henderson is one of the main characters in Workaholics. He is portrayed by Blake Anderson. He has an abnormally small penis, and has had sexual intercourse with somewhere between 0-1 women. He’s the guy at the party who makes a massive cheese and cracker sandwich called the Eliminator. You know, that guy. His strange personality makes him interesting, but also misunderstood, which is frustrating because Blake just wants to be himself. When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong constantly happens to this rebellious kid. But Blake understands the human condition in ways that Adam and Anders never will. He enjoys pitting Anders and Adam against each other like Othello’s Iago, if Iago had a sense of humor and a medical marijuana license. Being a weirdo with self confidence, phone sales suits him perfectly. What makes Blake a good friend is that he’s willing to take risks and try new things and he’ll trick you into joining him for a night you’ll never forget… because of the tattoo… and the scar… and the Croatian wife you now have. 1 7
