When I don’t have food, I’m not in a good mood. And, I’ll say “Don’t hack because we’re trying to make the Lorax come back.” So I am the Lorax I speak for the trees when it’s smoggy I always sneeze.

The Broken Baseball Boy By: Michael Yeager There once was a boy named Timothy who lived in a maple tree. He was a broken baseball boy. It all happened one shiny day and timothy was playing baseball on that unfortunate day. His team was winning 4 to 3 and he was up. He really wanted to get a double but that would be some trouble! You ask Why? A double is good you say. But then he would slide and feel the pride and the second baseman would get mad. He would break tim’s leg and that would be bad!

“I cannot go to school today.” Said little Keegan Gilsenan one day. “I woke up and had mushy feet, I think my heart is out of beat. I have a huge wart on my buns, I think somebody stole my lungs. I think I have a massive Llu, I look like a small cockatoo. I may have a bad stomach bug, Each time I breath I get a tug. I have counted my chicken pox, I barfed many times into a box. I have a hangnail and my heart is -‐ What? What’s that? What’s that you say? You say today is Saturday? G’bye I’m going out to play. “

“I cannot go to school today,” Said little Parker Russell one day. “I’ve got a massive broken bone, And now I think I’m going to moan. I’ve got a really black sore brain, I got pneumonia in the rain. I sadly could not sleep last night, My bed just was not fixed and right. My body hurts, getting dizzy, And it makes my head think silly. I think that I am turning green, And my body doesn’t feel as clean. I have a hangnail, and my heart is —what? What’s that? What’s that you say? You say today is… Saturday? G-bye I’m going out to play.”

“I cannot go out to school today,” Said little John Kulak one day. “I think I just got cut in half, Right after that I broke my calf. I really think I just got bit, And oh my gosh, I grew a zit. Oh no, my hand is getting numb, I feel my hair and there is gum. I think my head just got brainwashed, And when I dream I meet Chris Bosh. And then I hit the big fat door, And then I fell straight on the floor. I have a hangnail, and my heart is - what? What’s that? What’s that you say? You say today it is Saturday? G’bye, I’m going out to play!”

“ I cannot go to school to today,” Said little Andrew Casturo one day. “My feet are feeling awful pain, I feel like someone crushed my brain. My legs hurt very badly, I have cancer very sadly. I know there’s evil in my thumb, For some strange reason it feels numb. I have a case of the mumps, I see a large strange orange bump. My arms are feeling really weak, It’s medicine I really seek. I have a hangnail, and my heart is - what? What’s that? What’s that you say? You say today is… Saturday? G’bye, I’m going out to play!”

Sick By: Aidan Eric Reilly “I cannot go to school today,” Said little Aidan Reilly one day. “My eyes are drooping off my head, I think I can’t get out of bed. I cannot eat my feet are beat, I cannot sit up in my seat. I’m pretty sure I snapped in half, After that I would never laugh. I can’t believe my hair is green, I’m positive I broke my spleen. My life is bad, why there’s a bump, What’s that I see, why it’s a mump. I have a hangnail, and my heart is-‐ what? What’s that? What’s’ that you say? You say today is… Saturday? G’bye, I’m going out to play!”

The Beef Sandwich By: William Monahan One day a snowboarder and his rescue dog Joe were taking the ski lift up to the summit for lunch. When they got in the restaurant the dog ran away. The snowboarder looked everywhere but then he saw the dog eating a beef sandwich and drinking a cup of Sprite. Then Joe saw the snowboarder and ran out of the restaurant. He climbed the ladder and sat on the roof. The snowboarder tried to get Joe down but he wouldn’t come down. Then the snowboarder had an idea. He ran back in and got a beef sandwich. The snowboarder came back outside and waved it to the dog but still he wouldn’t come down. Finally, the snowboarder called the Lire department. One Lireman came with a ladder and climbed up and got the dog. The snowboarder said lots of thanks and then Joe and the snowboarder went back home. Everyone lived happily ever after.

Brunswick’s Garden The Green Bruins an Encore club consisting of Zach Murray and Benet Palikoff made a garden for our school. Here is their process! They started in the classroom by planting four kinds of lettuce and five kinds of herbs in bio-pots. Next, Zach and Benet dug trenches in the soil beds by the Lower School playground. They needed to add healthy soil to the garden. Then they planted the bio-pots directly in to the new soil outside. They also added a back row of sunflowers. The boys have been watering and weeding the garden before or after school everyday if it did not rain that day. They are

really proud of the growth and they hope we all can enjoy some Brunswick original garden fresh items this summer!

THE GRAY WOLF By Kyle Karas Gray wolves are endangered because humans have taken over their territory. Also, it is the only animal that is hunted year round in all national parks in the United States. The wolf has been hunted to near extinction by ranchers and land owners.
