Located in the historic Riverfront district of Savannah, this hotel features unique furnishings and subtle nods to the city’s industrial and commercial past. With 173 individually designed rooms and suites, each is unique, with one-of-a-kind elements courtesy of the renowned Savannah College of Art & Design. Harrahs Cherokee Casino Resort Cherokee, NC Nestled in the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains of the Western Carolinas, Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort is home to 150,000 square feet of Casino gaming & entertainment space and more than 1,800 rooms & suites. The interior is filled with warm earth tone materials with hints of burnt sienna and golden hues, along with a mix of brass metal and walnut woods. The Laylow Autograph Collection, Honolulu, HI Portland design firm OMFGCO, in collaboration with San Francisco’s Randolph Designs, created guestrooms at The Laylow in Waikiki. Here, mid-century modern meets present day Hawaiian charm. OMFGCO created a system of modular elements that float above the floor, suspended by steel supports that can be arranged in multiple configurations, specific to the context of each room. The teak veneer casework, shelving, and desk are complemented by custom designed brass drawer pulls. The privacy screens and refrigerator cabinet door faces are clad in lauhala matting, a woven straw material from the Philippines, adding a dash of organic island charm.
