Notes & Instructions:

A note from the composer: String Theory No. 1 is dedicated to Annika Spargo. It was written for performance by her 4th and 5th grade string orchestras. I was very happy to write this music and play the electric guitar part with her and her orchestras for the premiere on May 23rd, 2013 at Valentine Hills and Bel Air Elementary Schools. Guitar FX processors & performance techniques: This piece of music was written with specific guitar FX processing in mind. The guitar part should be performed with medium/heavy overdrive/distortion and reverb with a 5‐ 7 second tail. Follow the instructions within the electric guitar part for specifics on using the EBow and other performance techniques.
