or more than 150 years, Bryant has been at the forefront of delivering exceptional education that anticipates the future, and our future students, in a changing world. Now, building on the University’s nationally recognized programs in business, Bryant is boldly moving into the critical area of health care- the fastest-growing sector of the U.S. economy. Our new School of Health Sciences will leverage Bryant’s core business strengths to position students for the best career opportunities emerging in the health care sector. Our strategic health science initiatives include the School’s first clinical degree program, the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, and future business programs in health care management, health care analytics, and health care policy. Bryant’s health sciences programs are designed to give both frontline caregivers and top administrative leaders the knowledge needed to succeed in the rapidly changing health care industry. Graduates from our School of Health Sciences will be in high demand and ready to go forward to make positive and lasting change in our health care system. The new Bryant University School of Health Sciences facility, located in a major expansion to our landmark Unistructure, marks Bryant’s strategic and significant entry into health care education and training.

“ My respect for the profession and my desire to contribute to its growth drew me to create Bryant’s new program. Our students have a commitment to service that stands out and shows the quality leadership that characterizes Bryant’s PA class.” Robert Jay Amrien, MPAS, PA-C, founding director, Bryant Physician Assistant Program
Building on the University’s nationally recognized programs in business, our clinical programs, including the inaugural Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MSPAS), will ground Bryant’s School of Health Sciences in real-world education that is a Bryant hallmark. Students will benefit from a distinctive focus on the business of health care, with an introduction to the management principles of medical practice in the program’s second year. Defining features of Bryant’s program include state-of-the-art facilities, with two dedicated physician assistant classrooms, a high-fidelity simulation laboratory, and a physical exam laboratory. Complementing the Bryant facilities, students will also have access to the anatomy lab and medical library at Brown’s Alpert Medical School.
