BEFORE SCHOOL: Cello Club (Year 4 only)

The cello is a beautiful instrument with a rich tone and calming presence. Join Mr Milan and learn how to play stunning music in a small group. This club is open to both those studying cello and beginners.

Music Theory Club

Whether you are getting ready for an exam or whether you would like to brush on your music theory, this lunchtime club is just for you. Mr Kerr will guide you along and help develop your understanding of music.

AFTER SCHOOL: Dance Club

Learn and deliver performances of a range of dances. Keep fit, learn about the significance of dance in a range of cultures, have fun and find your inner rhythm!

Creative Writing & Story Telling Club

Language is a wonderful thing and in this club, you will learn to develop your use of written language to skillfully represent on paper (or screen) the ideas and thoughts you have in your mind. You want the reader to see in their heads what you have in yours!

Art & Design Club

Interested in artists, designers and the things that they create? Explore and discuss many wonderful pieces and turn your hand to bringing your own ideas to life - everything is possible! From art and craft, inventions to architecture - where will your imagination take you?

Yoga Club

Relax, keep fit and find some to breath and take a moment. Bliss.

Mosaics Club

The children will learn about some of the most famous mosaics in the world and recognise the value of this wonderful artform. They will design and create their own beautiful mosaics.

Choir Club

This choir is a great opportunity to sing fun and energetic music. You will learn to sing rounds, echo sing and begin singing in harmony.

WEDNESDAY Years 3&4

AFTER SCHOOL: Cooking Club

Are you a budding chef? Do you like to cook your own meals or entertain others? In this club you will learn to prepare and make a range of recipes, one week in the Food Technology Room where you will be able to bake and cook some tasty foods and in the next week, in a classroom where you will prepare recipes such as smoothies, salads, sandwiches, wraps, couscous dishes and more! Recipes will be emailed to parents the week before the club. Parents will need to support their child in this club by buying the relevant ingredients and helping their child measure and prepare them the evening before the club.

Maths Mastery Club

Where talented mathematicians will be challenged to develop their problem solving, reasoning and all-round numeric skills, with the opportunity to participate in Maths Competitions. This is an invite only club.

Junior Duke Awards

Children in the Junior Duke Awards complete a range of personal challenges including First Aid, learning to swim, cookery, domestic challenges, caring for others, making a presentation, learning words and phrases in a new language, Eco challenges, drama, sewing and many other fun things! It’s all about challenge and life skills. To note, some of the activities will need to be completed at home.

Film Society Production and Film Club

To develop the appreciation of film as a medium of art and literacy. To critically analyse content, cinematography and technical aspects of production, using these as starting points for group discussions and debate. To use what we have learnt through film analysis to plan, create storyboards and scripts, film and edit our own short movies.

Student Leadership Club

This club is invite only for all student leaders. You will work with Sixth Form students and staff to find, share and promote student voice across the school. What you find will be broadcast across the school community via a high quality school magazine.

Lego Club

Do you like designing and making things? Are you creative? Do you like lego? This one's for you!

Are you a budding YouTuber? Or perhaps you're interested in producing your own documentaries or 'How to...' short films about your favourite Apps? Then sign up for our mini-movie-making club where you can learn all about editing photos and video footage to create your own mini-movie.

Robotics Club

In Robotics club we will integrate the sciences of coding and mechanics, looking at the fundamentals of how robots work and how they can be controlled with code.

Chess Club

Come along and learn to play the great game of chess, how the game is played and some basic strategy and approaches. Chess is for everyone and is a game you will play for years to come. In the Secondary School teams compete against other schools!

Recreational Football (Year 5 only)

Come along and join in with some friendly games on the mini-pitch. Have fun with your friends and enjoy some exercise at the same time!
