ASSESSMENTS

The assessment descriptors (AO1/AO2/AO3/AO4) are used to assess both Component 1 and 2. Students will receive continuous assessment feedback and support throughout the course. Students are intrinsically involved in critical analysis of their own work and the work of their peers.

Year 12 and Year 13 Assessment Objective Descriptors:

AO1: Develop ideas through sustained and focused investigations informed by contextual and other sources, demonstrating analytical and critical understanding. AO2: Explore and select appropriate resources, media, materials, techniques and processes, reviewing ASSESSMENTS and refining ideas as work develops. Term 1 AO3: Record ideas, observations and insights relevant to intentions, reflecting critically on work and Term 2 progress. End of year exam A04 Present a personal and meaningful response that realises intentions and, where appropriate,

makes connections between visual and other elements.
