Google Skills - signing in and setting up pupil Google Accounts; manage and organise folders for work; looking at collaboration using Google Slides, Docs and Jamboard. Google Classroom - connecting and using the interface to view and submit documents. Code.org - Coding and challenges using the code.org Google sign in Course F

ARABIC (NON-NATIVE): Greetings and related pronouns; nationalities; possessive pronouns; describing myself with related adjectives; revise colours and body parts.

MFL:

French The date - numbers, months and days of the week. How to say and write the date. When is your birthday? Pets - pet vocabulary; saying I have and I don’t have (the negative). Turning singular into plural.

MATHS:

Place value – read, write, order and compare numbers to at least 1,000,000; count forward and backwards in powers of 10; interpret negative numbers in context; round numbers to the nearest 10, 100, 1000, 10000 and 100000; solve practical number problems; read Roman numerals Addition, Subtraction - mental strategies; formal written methods for whole numbers with more than 4 digits; round answers in the context of a problem Statistics - solve problems using information presented in a line graph; complete, read and interpret timetables Multiplication and Division - multiply and divide by 10, 100, 1000; identify multiples, factors, square numbers, cube numbers and prime numbers Perimeter and Area - calculate the perimeter of composite rectilinear shapes; calculate and compare the area of rectangles

MUSIC:

Scales and keyboard skills Music is often composed from an organized set of notes called a SCALE. A scale is a series of notes that follows a specific pattern and sometimes, the patterns and the scales change. In this unit students will be learning about some of the different types of scales which composers use. There will be opportunities to listen to, perform and compose for each of the different scales in the unit.

PE:

Net Games - children will develop their hand eye coordination through badminton. They will develop skills such as the overhead clear, drop shot and serving. Athletics - children will develop their running, jumping and throwing skills in preparation for their school sports day event. Swimming - children will develop their body position, arm & leg actions, breathing techniques and timing for each of the main strokes against Swim England standards. They will develop a range of other water based skills such as diving and tumble turns.
