If you’re interested in understanding the human mind, you can delve into the intricacies of the brain in our fully equipped psychology lab in High Wycombe. This gives our students and researchers a space to apply theory to research, analyse complex data and unravel the mysteries of the brain. To help us understand human behaviour, we’ve invested in a range of equipment that tracks eye movements, measures physiological responses, and explores the use of Virtual Reality.

The Human Performance, Exercise and Wellbeing Centre is also part of the High Wycombe Campus and brings together our teaching, research and enterprise across health, sport, exercise and wellbeing. The centre comprises of our Human Performance Laboratory and our Sports and Wellbeing Clinic, which is accessible to staff, students and the public.

If it’s sport and the human body that fascinates you, then you will be right at home in the Human Performance Lab. Equipped for assessing the function and performance of a wide range of human physiological, biomechanical and psychological parameters, the Human

Performance Lab gives you the tools you need to succeed as you learn to use leadingedge research tools for sport, exercise and therapy. You can test limits and see firsthand how you can support the development and evolution of the human body.

We understand the importance of healthcare, that's why we have Aylesbury Campus and a whole campus in Uxbridge, West London, dedicated to Nursing, Healthcare and Allied Health courses. So if you decide to study one of these courses, you'll likely to be based in Aylesbury or Uxbridge. Both Campuses houses a range of working wards and simulation labs for our students to use. Simulation is an important aspect of our Nursing and Healthcare programmes. Students regularly spend time in these areas, to practice technical skills and use the newest technologies, in a safe and supportive environment.

Workshops for some of our programmes are held at Missenden Abbey Conference Centre, in Great Missenden. A 12th Century former medieval abbey, set within 10 acres of beautiful grounds in the heart of the Chilterns, Missenden Abbey blends a historic building with a purpose-built conference and training facility.
