BUCKS STUDENTS’ UNION

Bucks Students' Union is the perfect way to continue with your interests and find new ones. From societies and volunteering to events, training and support, there is certainly something for everyone - and, even better, it is all free.

There’s more to university than your time in the classroom. It’s the time to form friendships that last a lifetime, grow your confidence and enhance your skills through new experiences.

The Students' Union is all about you, it is a space for you to be heard. Whether that is through its friendly and professional Advice Centre or representation scheme you are always at the forefront. The best part? You automatically become a member of the Students' Union when you enrol at the University so you can start enjoying all the benefits straight away without any hassle.

We are proud that our exciting and dynamic Students’ Union is ranked top two in the UK (NSS 2022). How did we achieve this? Well, by making sure that regardless of what you’re into, there is something for you at BNU and we put you at the centre of everything we do.

Develop Your Existing Skills

We know you are at university to study and earn a qualification, but we believe everyone can benefit from additional skills. That is why we offer a range of workshops and sessions, from emergency and paediatric first aid to language lessons, public speaking and many more certified courses – we try to make sure there is something for everyone, with all sessions being completely free.

Be Represented

We passionately believe that you have rights, opinions and a voice. The collective opinion of students should never be underestimated and, by working together, we can make things happen. With student representatives at all levels in the University, we have over 200 students actively working towards making your BNU university experience the best it can be.

Get Involved

Bucks Students’ Union offer the BIG Deal, in conjunction with BNU, to give you a diverse range of programmes and activities, unique in the university sector. From sports, societies and entertainment, to recreational activities, personal development programmes and trips all provided for free!
