As an evolution of Intersight 19, this year’s volume expands on the notion of moving students to the forefront of discussion in evaluating the pedagogy of the school. In order to further enhance the active participation of the student body, Intersight 20 provides a platform to generate conversations between projects and students as a means to reflect on the work of the academic year. This emphasis on reflection and dialogue allows the book to become a tool used to assess notions of idea generation while critiquing our own methodologies of proposing design interventions.
The University at Buffalo School of Architecture and Planning student journal, Intersight, is an annual publication that celebrates the interconnectedness of architecture, planning, and design as it works to serve as stimulant for discussion. The product evaluates the current intellectual concentration of our pedagogy and culture within the varying discourses of the program.
