Bugaboo donkey competition terms and conditions

Terms & Conditions for the Bugaboo Donkey Competition HOW TO ENTER? From 9 am (CET) on September 3, 2015 until 6 pm (CET) on September 30, 2015 (“Contest Period”), Bugaboo International B.V. (“Bugaboo”) will organize the “Bugaboo Donkey competition (the “Competition”).

Here’s what you should do: 1. register your Bugaboo Donkey online: https://www.bugaboo.com/ my-account; and, 2. take a photo showing your ‘Heavy Donkey Load’*; and, 3. send an email to donkeytrip@bugaboo.com and include your Bugaboo Donkey tag number and the photo. *Never load the underseat basket with more than 10 –kgs, or the side-luggage basket with over 6 6-kgs.

Bugaboo will select the winner of the Competition.

To participate in the Competition and, before submitting the photo, participants are strongly encouraged to read and must accept these terms and conditions.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. The winner must be the legal and rightful owner of a Bugaboo Donkey and be able to bring the Bugaboo Donkey on the trip. The stroller should be in good (used) condition, following normal wear and tear.

2. These terms and conditions apply to the Competition. By entering the Competition, participants expressly agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. However, the Competition shall be void where prohibited by law.

3. The Competition is promoted and organized by Bugaboo International B.V., Paasheuvelweg 9a-b, 1105BE Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Registered at the Chamber of Commerce in Amsterdam under number 34112667.

4. Bugaboo will moderate the Competition and reserves the right not to accept or publish any winner from the Competition that does not comply with these terms and conditions.

5. There is no purchase requirement to enter the Competition other than the usual Internet connection charges payable to the participant’s service provider and/or Telephone Company.

QUALIFYING PARTICIPANTS 6. The competition is open to residents of all countries, aged 18 and above.

7. Employees of Bugaboo, including their relatives, agents and people connected with the creation or administration of the Competition are not eligible to take part in the Competition. Bugaboo reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all Participants.

8. By entering the Competition, the Participant hereby warrants that all personal details submitted by him/her are true, current and complete and that the e-mail address and phone number he/she submits are accurate and valid.

9. By entering the Competition, the Participant also hereby warrants that they will observe a polite attitude and will not post on any of the Bugaboo social network pages (Facebook,

Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest) any comments that would be insulting, offending or content which would be contrary to the law. Any such comments will immediately be deleted.

10. Bugaboo, in its absolute discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any participant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the participant has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, has cheated or does not meet any of the conditions set out in these Terms and Conditions.

THE COMPETITION – ENTRY AND PRIZE 11. The Competition begins at 9 am (CET) on September 3, 2015, and ends at 6 pm (CET) on September 30, 2015. Submissions received after this time and date will not be taken into account.

12. Each participant may submit up to 1 entry per registration.

13. This Competition is a game of skill, and chance plays no part in determining the identity of the winner. All valid entries received during the Contest Period will be judged on their merit and the entry judged to be the best, will win the prize.

14. A jury composed of Bugaboo personnel will select the winner of the Competition.

15. The winner of the Competition will be announced on the Bugaboo Global Facebook page and Bugaboo social media channels on October 1, 2015.

16. Bugaboo will notify the winner by email using the information given in their competition entry.

17. The winner of the Competition will win a Prize (“the Prize”). The Prize consist of: a. a (economy class) roundtrip trip to London; and, b. hotel accommodation for two nights; and, c. 500 Euro shopping money. Provided through a prepaid Credit Card; 18. The winner is entitled to bring one family member, spouse, or partner and up to two children over the age of two.

18. Insurance, all expenses and incidentals are not mentioned above are the responsibility of the winner.

19. The winner is required to: a. have a meeting with a Bugaboo employee during the trip for a short interview and photo shoot, which Bugaboo can use for promotional purposes on its website and on its (local) social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube, etc.); and, b. sign a Bugaboo Photo/ Video Release form.

20. For the avoidance of doubt, no other costs will be assumed by Bugaboo. Nor will Bugaboo be responsible for any tax implication that may arise from winning the Prize.

21. If the Prize is declined or unclaimed by the winner, or if a winner cannot be contacted from the details provided within twenty four hours of notification, a replacement winner may be selected by the jury at the discretion of Bugaboo from the other selected photo’s.

The new winner will be notified by Bugaboo. The original winner will then be forfeited.

22. In the event that Bugaboo is unable to supply the Prize (or a part of it), Bugaboo reserves the right to supply an alternative Prize of similar monetary value.

23. The Prize is personal and will be in the name of the winner. The Prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. The Prize is awarded at the entire discretion of Bugaboo and no Prize will be awarded as a result of improper actions by or on behalf of any participant.

COPYRIGHT 24. By posting/entering the photo in the Competition participant declares that: (a) he/she is the sole owner and author of the photo, (b) that participant is the sole owner of all copyright for the photo, (c) the photo is not subject to third-party rights and (d) the photo is original.

25. The photo does not contain any unauthorized, threatening, hatred-inciting, false, misleading, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, scandalous, inflammatory, pornographic or profane content.

26. The winner grants to Bugaboo and its designees an irrevocable, royalty-free, nonexclusive, worldwide perpetual license to publish the photos (as entered, or as cropped

by Bugaboo) on its website and on its (local) social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube, etc.) in the context of this Competition.

27. Participant confirms that each recognizable person and/or child depicted in the photo has granted permission to be portrayed as shown and that they have been informed of the Competition.

LIABILITY 28. By taking part in the Competition, the participant accepts that unforeseen technical problems linked to the use of computer networks may arise, including problems when connecting to the Internet. Bugaboo cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any participant entering the Competition.

Bugaboo is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer wi-fi systems, servers, or providers, platforms and/or platform operators, computer equipment, software failure of any email or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, telephone lines or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer or other mobile device related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in the Competition.

29. Bugaboo gives no warranty or guarantee in relation to the Prize and accepts no responsibility or liability for elements of the Prize being amended by Bugaboo.

30. To the fullest extent permissible by law, Bugaboo excludes liability for all loss, damage or claim arising as a result of the Participant’s entry into the Competition or use of the Prize.

DATA PROTECTION AND PUBLICITY 31. Bugaboo reserves the right and the participant expressly agrees that Bugaboo may use the name and/or pseudonym of the winner and/or all texts at whatever location such visual material may be produced. Use may include the Internet, such as the website of Bugaboo, its social network pages including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Flickr, You Tube etc. and all texts, Photograph, publicity, magazines, catalogues or the likes.

32. By participating in this Competition, the participant will only be providing information to Bugaboo. Bugaboo will store participant’s entry details in connection with this Competition solely for the purpose of Competition administration, unless participants have given permission for additional use.

CANCELLATION 33. Bugaboo reserves the right to cancel the Competition and/or to amend the terms and conditions or change the Prize at any time and without prior notice.

34. In the event of any dispute regarding these terms and conditions, conduct, results and all other matters relating to the Competition, the decision of Bugaboo shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.

35. If at any time one or more of the provisions of these terms and conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck out without affecting the remaining provisions.

36. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in all respects in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands.
