30 years of making travel dreams come true.
Bunnik Tours proudly celebrates its 30th anniversary, marking three decades of delivering exceptional travel experiences to passionate adventurers. Since our founding, we have been dedicated to designing tours that truly capture the essence of each destination through authentic and immersive experiences, all within small groups of no more than 20 travellers.
We take pride in offering tours that strike the perfect balance between organised sightseeing and free time, visiting renowned attractions while also exploring off the beaten path. Our passion for travel, combined with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, has made Bunnik Tours a trusted name in the travel industry.
As we celebrate this milestone, we remain dedicated to our core values: small group sizes, authentic special experiences, personalised service, and unforgettable travel moments. We look forward to many more years of making travel dreams come true.

1
Philosophy Small Group
Top 10 Reasons Why Smaller Is Better
Less Time Waiting
Getting on and off the coach, comfort stops, hotel check-ins, meals – with a smaller group, everything is easier and quicker, giving you more time to enjoy your holiday.
2 More Time with Your Guide
Our low guest-to-guide ratio means you’ll have more one-on-one time to ask questions and take advantage of your guide’s expert local knowledge.
3 More Space on the Coach
Our groups are small, but our vehicles are not! You’ll have plenty of room to spread out with seats to spare.
4 Better Views
Full coaches often mean your holiday photos feature the back of people’s heads. When the coach isn’t full, everyone has a better view.
5 More Hotel Choice
Big groups can only stay at large, and often impersonal, chain hotels. Small groups have the flexibility to stay at the smaller hotels with lots of character that are also closer to the action.
6 Less Time on the Coach
Centrally located hotels mean we can do more sightseeing on foot rather than being caught up in city traffic. Walking gives you a more immersive holiday experience, and you’ll feel like a true local!
7 Flexibility
Small groups are more flexible, so we can change the itinerary around to suit the local conditions.
8 Get Off the Tourist Trail
The logistical challenges of large groups restrict them to places and experiences that can cater for large numbers. Small groups can get off the beaten track and really experience a destination.
9
Be a Responsible Tourist
Small groups are low-impact and don’t ruin the very place you’ve come to see. By not being limited to large hotels and restaurants, we are able to better help the local communities we visit.
10 More Fun!
Being in a small group means you get to know all of your fellow travellers, not just a small portion of the group. Many of our guests establish long-lasting friendships on our tours.

Meals
Multi-Night Stays
We include multi-night stops to give you time to breathe and take in your surrounds. It’s about finding that balance between making the most of your time away and recognising that you are on holiday and need the time to just ‘be’.
Breakfast is included daily along with group welcome and farewell dinners. We’ll also include some special dining experiences along the way and meals where it might be tricky to get it for yourself. We don’t include all meals so you can eat outside a hotel setting and experience life as a local.

Character Accommodation
Big groups stay in the big hotel chains. We have the flexibility to choose from a wider range of accommodation based on factors such as character, service and location. Whether it’s a stay inside Iguazu Falls National Park or at Inkaterra Hotel near Machu Picchu, if it’s worth the experience, we’ll include it.
No Hidden Extras
Our tours include all sightseeing, many meals and even taxes and tips where appropriate. Our ‘optional extras’ are based on special-interest activities that don’t always appeal to everyone, meaning they’re truly optional.
Tipping Made Easy
We have developed a program for all destinations where tipping is customary. This simple system sees us collect tips at the time of booking which are included in the tour price. We then pass these tips to our local staff, and they take care of all the tipping. Easy!
Transportation
We like to mix up the transportation we use because we believe it makes for a better holiday experience –after all, anybody can give you a coach tour! We travel on traditional boats, take scenic train journeys and glide up mountains in cable cars.

Special experiences allow us to dig deeper and really connect with the places and cultures we visit. They’re the types of things you can’t do on your own or with a large group. In short, they are what set our small group tours apart – fun, immersive and memorable.
