“We are safe, reliable, and friendly.“ All Burbank seniors (60+) and disabled (all ages) residents can use our $1.00 transportation services within the City of Burbank. This will help you feel more independent to go to places - grocery stores, hair salon, shopping, medical appointments, and much more. There are also good opportunities to meet people with the same interest. This program was designed to help you, the rider, use the BurbankBus Senior & Disabled Transit to get around the City in a safe, reliable manner.

Eligibility & Fare Information
Disabled
Seniors Burbank resident who is 60 years or older
Burbank resident of any age who is disabled and has a doctor’s verification of their disability. Registration form is available at the end of the book.

$1.00 PER RIDE
Cash Only Burbank residents who are income eligible may ride the bus for FREE through the Burbank Program, Activity, and Service Subsidy (PASS) Program. How to Schedule a Ride
Step 1: Call (818) 238-5360 Call one (1) day in advance from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm. Provide information over the phone: Name Address Phone number Destination date, time, and address of appointment If you need a return ride, provide return address. Any accommodation information such as wheelchair or if an aide is accompanying you. Aide rides for free. First call, first served basis
Step 2: Wait for a Call Back to Confirm Ride We will call you back within the same day to confirm your requested ride. Schedulers will do their best to give you the requested time. However, sometimes that might not happen due to the number of requests that day.
Step 3: For your ride, be ready within 15 minutes. Look for a small blue and white bus with the City of Burbank's logo. One of our friendly drivers will pick you up and take you to your scheduled destination. If you requested a return ride, a driver will pick you up again.
Passenger Policies
1 Curb-to-Curb Service. Drivers will only provide assistance from the curb into the vehicle, and out of the vehicle to the curb.

Shopping Bags & Carts. Six (6) shopping bags are limited for each passenger. No one item or shopping bag can exceed 25 lbs. Large items in excess of 24 inches in height, depth, or length will not be permitted. Mobility aids and life support systems do not apply to this policy. Due to space, no shopping carts if in groups.

Smoking, drinking, and eating on the bus is prohibited.

2 If needed, bring an aide. Please inform us in advance when there is an aide. Service animals only.
4 Call (818) 238-5361 as soon as you know that you need to cancel - at least 2 hours in advance. Changes in scheduling requires prior approval. Each passenger has a specific destination. Some requested changes may or may not be accommodated.

Violations to rules and regulations will be addressed. Consequences may include suspension from service. Examples: Discriminatory comments or actions Disruptive conduct on a vehicle Inappropriate behavior Consistent or regular "no shows" and/or failure to cancel rides 2 hours prior to scheduled pick up or failing to notify the Transit Office for cancellation.

Important Tips
Schedule your ride one day in advance by calling in the morning at 8:30 a.m. The phone number is (818) 238-5360. Call on Friday morning for Saturday and Monday requests. Be flexible with your requested times for shopping and non-medical appointments. This will help us accommodate more passengers. We apologize in advance. Few requests may be declined. If transit services are fully booked or if it is a late reservation call, we may need to decline your request and offer other solutions.
