Happy New Year! Dear Volunteers, We are so happy to be starting a new year with you all. We hope that you all had a nice and safe holiday season with your loved ones. We are hopeful that this year is going to be even better than the last! The Burbank Volunteer Program would like to take this opportunity to remind all volunteers that are 18+ to please make sure you get your fingerprint Live Scan done. For those of you who are not aware, the fingerprint Live Scan is a background check process through the City of Burbank. This was put on hold in the first year of the pandemic due to public bulidings being closed. Now that the City is back open, we have implemented this back into our background check process. This background check is $10 and only needs to be completed once. Please call the Burbank Volunteer Program at 818-238-5370 or send an email to bvp@burbankca.gov for more information regarding the fingerprint Live Scan. For those of you who have been with BVP prior to 2020, you should have already had this taken care of and do not need to worry about doing it again. The Burbank Volunteer Program would like to share some goals we have for this new year. •

Gain new skills

Put in extra effort

Spend more (and safe) time with loved ones

What are some goals you have for this year? The Burbank Volunteer Program Team, Lacey Cabrera and Caitlyn Batchelor
