DECEMBER UPDATES

We can’t believe we are heading into the last month of 2022. Where has the year gone? Looking back at our year, we are happy to see what we achieved. Some of our services have returned. We’ve had some amazing lectures and presentations. Arts and crafts events have filled up a few times. We have even had a few dances and performances. You all have helped us have a great year. Now we are looking at the year ahead. We hope to start new programs and activities but we need your help. We will have a survey going out to our email subscribers on December 14. You can leave your email with the front desk staff if you would like to be added to our email list. We will also have paper copies at the front desk for you to fill out and submit. We want to hear from you. We value your input on how to better serve the community. Bringing in new programs and activities requires volunteers to lead them. If you have knowledge or a skill, or know someone that does, and would like to share it with others, come by the front office and fill out our Activity Proposal sheet.

Did you know we have some amazing volunteers that are tech savvy? Don is very knowledgeable when it comes to computers and Jim is great with phones. If there is something on your laptop or mobile phone that you don’t understand, they will be able to assist you. Call the Joslyn Adult Center to schedule an appointment with them 818.238.5353.

Thank you for letting us be there for you in 2022. We wish you all Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year.
