Greetings from Joslyn Adult Center! It is hard to believe that five months ago Joslyn Adult Center closed its doors in response to Safer at Home orders throughout Los Angeles County. Since our initial closure in March, staff has continued to work diligently: answering calls; responding to emails; working with the Nutrition program; and creating new virtual Joslyn programming. I miss seeing all of you here at Joslyn, and our team is looking forward to the day when we will be able to open our doors again. In the meantime, we hope that you all stay safe and healthy, and invite you to stay connected with us through one of our many virtual activities. Though we are unable to meet in person at Joslyn, you can still get fit with Harry, workout with Charleen, and boost your brain health with Kimberly! Each month we are adding new FREE programs and activities. We’re excited to announce that this month we launched Virtual Bingo, sponsored by Regal Medical Group. We hope that you will join us for the next one on September 30. As we continue to adjust to this new normal, our team is open to ideas for new classes and available to answer questions about virtual activities. If you are interested in participating but are not sure how, please do not hesitate to call us. We are happy to walk you through the first steps to get you started. Looking forward to connecting with you!
