OY Coffee Table

Inspired by sculptural minimalism the OY Coffee Table is designed with an eye on simplicity with an edge. Seen from above, the joints of the table top and the angular legs form an O and an Y, which is why it’s named the OY Coffee Table.The table is crafted in high-quality ash treated with a stained oil giving a depth and warmth which emphasizes the elegant and natural veining of the wood. Use multiple OY Coffee Tables in different sizes to create a cohesive landscape in two levels.

Designer Christian Troels:

Christian Troels has a Master Degree in Industrial Design from Kolding School of Design. In the 2020 edition of DR´s program series “Denmark’s Next Classic”, Christian Troels has marked himself as a charismatic, innovative and dynamic designer who dares to think outside the box.

”I wanted to create an unpretentious chair that makes people smile and that functions in many different environments. The small circular back and subtle details give the chair personality, while the strong cross construction gives the chair superior strength and expression.

It has been a challenge to create a chair that is minimalistic enough to work in large numbers, for example around a dining table, yet has the character to stand alone as a functional sculpture in an office or bedroom.”
