Over the centuries artists have drawn inspiration from many sources, from nature and natural materials, from the creations of earlier civilisations and other cultures. In this, my first solo catalogue, I have brought together a collection intended to celebrate such paths of inspiration. Diverse in geography, in media and in age, the works are united by a common timeless appeal and, through their diversity, dialogues are created and, I hope, curiosity piqued.
