1 TopGolf opens this Month!

We have been hearing about TopGolf coming to South Fayette for two years and the opening is just around the corner! The simulated golfing entertainment venue plans to open its doors to the public before the end of July. TopGolf has chosen to withhold their official start date to test out their only PA facility before attracting the masses.

Staying in the Know

Junior Achievement “Biz Town” moves into Abele Junior Achievement of Western Pennsylvania recently signed a lease for 18,000 SF at 90 Emerson Lane, occupying the entire building in Abele. They will be calling their facility JA BizTown, a two-pronged, innovative, educational experience that far exceeds any typical early education class in economics and business. Designed for 5th grade students, teachers are able to take their classrooms to visit JA BizTown.

The facility is a fully-interactive simulation on how to run a business, apply personal finance education and work with a student business team led by volunteers and staff. The market place for JA BizTown will consist of 14 to 20 kid-sized businesses, sponsored by local Pittsburgh corporations. Over 100 jobs will be featured, where the students, referred to as the citizens of JA BizTown, will have the opportunity to work jobs in finance, healthcare, skilled labor, energy, retail, IT services, media and government. This experience brings the ‘real world’ to life! Be sure to check out JA BizTown in the months to come!
